When I first meet Kelly I saw myself in her. I sold Real Estate for many years in Michigan and know the challenges of buying and selling. I still have a license but I dont actively sell. In December 2014, I was offered the job I'd wanted for years, but it meant an immediate relocation to another state. I panicked because, although I lived in the Bradenton/Sarasota area for 7 years, I really didn't know anyone. So I decided to pick three real estate agents at random and asked them to come talk to me. The one I was most comfortable with would be the one I chose.Out of all the decisions I had to make while selling my home, Kelly was the best decision I could have EVER made! Kelly arrived armed with comps for the area, talked me through the home selling process, and convinced me that I could list my home HIGHER than another agent suggested and that it would sell almost immediately. When the first contract fell through, she had another buyer lined up in hours (not DAYS, HOURS!!!)Kelly KNOWS her stuff!Kelly doesn't make decisions or give you advice with a prospective buyer in mind (the feeling I got when I talked to two other real estate agents). She is 100% invested in your home sale, your move, your circumstances. She made a confused and fraught process so much easier for me by always being available, whether I contacted her via phone or text message. She was quick to let me know when something changed, information was received, and what she needed from me. When it was finally over, I could only sigh in relief that I picked the right person the FIRST time.Now, is my experience normal? I don't know but I do know this: If I EVER had to sell a home again, I'd want Kelly Eckersen holding my hand the entire time.
