She grew up in Lawrence, Kansas and attended the University of Nebraska on an athletic scholarship. Kim and her husband Jon moved to Durango in 2002 and she has been a licensed Colorado Real Estate Broker since 2005. In 2008, Kim was named one of Realtor Magazine's 30 Under 30, and in 2009 was among the top 5 producers in the Durango area. Kim and her husband moved back to Lawrence in 2010 to assist family. During that time, she acquired her Series 7 and Series 63 licenses and worked as a Financial Advisor. In addition to working at a Financial Planning Firm, she continued to own and manage residential and commercial investment properties in the Southwest Colorado area.
