Deana handled the listing and sale of our home, overall a pleasant experience despite some challenges we had to overcome in the sales process! The first buyer backed out at the last hour and Deana ended up bringing her own buyer and the second deal went through without any issues.

I decided to sell my home and listed with a top agent. After his home inspection a price was agreed to and I signed a six month contract but the agent said he would rip it up if I was Not satisfied. Well after three weeks he told me that I must drop my price by offer $10,000 because he missed problem areas regarding the home. I told him that I thought that I was involved with a bait and switch scenario. I asked that the contract be voided but he refused to keep his word. I had to wait for the contrct to run out. I then did some research regarding agents in this area and interviewed Deanna Marr. She was a true professional. I told her I was gun shy regarding a six month contract and she worked with me. She came to the house and took professional grade pictures and was able to provide a steady flow of potential buyers. She was able to provide the negotiations that sold my home. Deanna came highly recommended to us by another realtor who, because he was an exclusive agent for a particular development, could not show us other homes in this area. Deanna met with us, ascertained our preferences, and then showed us a number of houses on our two trips to the region. She was very helpful providing insights into the area as a whole and particular sites as well. Other than the two visits, we were working from a long distance, and Deanna continued to send us listings she thought might interest us. She also proved instrumental in our selection of an agent to sell our home in another state. She screened agents in our area and then gave us a list to interview. She even gave us questions to ask and responses to listen for that would help us choose. Following her advice, we employed another great agent to sell our house quite successfully. We ultimately elected to buy a home that was not yet constructed, so we did not really need to test her negotiating skills. None the less, as we still lived far away, Deanna kept us apprised of progress and paperwork as we went through the construction and then closing processes.
