My wife and I can not recommend Lauren highly enough. She was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire time it took to find, negotiate and purchase our first home. Lauren is very thorough, thoughtful, and most importantly she is a tremendous listener. Lauren went above and beyond to take the time to understand what we were looking for in a first home, in fact she probably knew more about what we were looking for than we did. Lauren was always available to us, which provided us with an extra level of comfort as we knew if we had any questions or concerns that she was only a call or text away from us being able to bounce ideas off of her or simply help us calm our nerves. Lauren worked tirelessly on our behalf, even throughout the Holiday Season. Lauren was also very accommodating, while she was constantly searching for homes on our behalf; she was very open to our input on homes we came across in our efforts. She even went so far as to provide us with access to her MLS private listing service, which filled us with total confidence that we wouldnt miss any opportunities. It took us countless open houses and viewings before we were ready to prepare our first offer. This is where Laurens patience and attention to detail really paid off. Not only did we not feel any pressure to make an offer on the first dozen or so houses we looked out, but Lauren was also able to point out specific things we didnt care for at houses that we had already passed on when we felt the need to put an offer on something. This reassured us that we didnt need to rush into this purchase and that when the right house came along, all of us would know it. However, it was in the midst of our first competitive offer where Lauren really came through for us. We were rushing into an offer to beat a deadline on a place we werent 100% sold on, only we didnt know that we werent all-in on the place at the time we needed to make an offer. Lauren, patiently and calmly walked us through our options and without forcing us in to a particular decision, helped us come to the correct conclusion that this wasnt the right place for us. Lauren is a great and constant communicator, whether you realize it when youre talking with her or not you realize shortly thereafter that she has your best interest at heart and that she is always taking into account the fundamentals involved with a Real Estate Purchase. The best thing about Laurens communication is that you feel and know that youre always making progress towards finding and eventually purchasing the home youve been looking for. To keep a long story and recommendation a little shorter, my wife and I eventually found the first home wed been looking for. Ironically, Lauren found it for us immediately following our decision not to make a competitive offer on the aforementioned house, as she went to work and found a house that had just come on the market in our area. It was at this time, when we found out how incredibly valuable Lauren was in both negotiations and collaboration. She worked day and night with both the selling agent and, just as importantly, with our finance broker, which turned out to be the difference maker in enabling us to win a competitive bid on the place we are now so fortunate to call home and a place we see ourselves living and starting a family in. We cant Thank Lauren enough for all that she did and does in a days work and we certainly can not recommend her highly enough.
