In an effort to help renters and other people looking to qualify for a mortgage, I conduct credit classes around the Denver metro area on how credit works and to improve and maintain good credit. There are many myths and assumptions on how credit works and little education. For example, many people believe that once you pay off a collection it will stop negatively affected your credit. This is not true. Although the collection may show a $0 balance, it will continue to negatively hit your credit for up to 7 years. I have attached flyers below for upcoming classes.
