Leslie Byers

My family/friends and I rented a house from Leslie back in Feb. 2018 for our family vacation in July. We were so excited. On April 22nd I emailed her regarding the contract. We had signed the contract in Feb. and sent a large deposit for the house but had yet received a signed copy from her. She emailed me back the same day and apologized for the delay and stated she would send it. I am sorry I have not returned a signed copy I will try to get one back to you as soon as possible . I am out of town at the moment . There is nothing else that you need to do . Leslie Byers On Apr 22, 2018, at 8:49 I then emailed her again on May 22nd because I still had not received a copy of the contract. Ms. Byers then texted me on May 23 at almost midnight telling me she had sold the property and would send our money back to us. I was Shocked!! She Never told us the property was up for sale. I explained to her how shocked we were and that she had never told us the property was for sale and that she should have because now we were at the end of May and probably would not be able to find another house for 12 people for a reasonable price that was 3800. square feet. She emailed back and said sorry it was not her fault she sold the house. I would not trust this women to buy, sell or rent (from or to) my house. She clearly has no integrity. She should of told us all along what she was doing so my family and friends could of made a choice regarding the house. Our kids are all in college and had asked off for that specific week (as did the adults) and there was nothing available on any site for the price, size and time we had set aside. Ms. Byers ruined our family vacation and never thought twice about it.
