The Finishing Touch was born out of a difficult transition with my own mother. After moving her, I realized that a service dedicated to seniors, their adult children and anyone needing extra assistance would be a meaningful operation. Four years later, after opening my own company, I am now ready to have others join me on my mission to help folks who need an extra hand navigating the entire moving process. My focus is on the details of the move. Organizing and packing the items that will be moved is the first step. Moving both the person or family to the new residence and getting them resettled comfortably comes next. If there are unwanted contents in the home, we will arrange an estate sale, donations or will discard anything that is left. Repairs are often needed to maximize the proceeds from a home sale.
