Margaret genuinely cares about you as a person and what you are looking for in a home or property. She was quick to point out aspects like nearby fire hydrants and other factors that would lower insurance rates. Finding the property was the easy part for my me and my husband. The difficult part was related to a complicated financing deal. Margaret has an excellent business background which allowed her to take the steering wheel and drive the transaction to closure.

As a general rule I do not recommend companies that I hire to do a job as there is an expectation that they will perform to accepted norms established when they are hired. Based on the performance of Faith Parks, a former team member, I brought Margaret Melville and her group on to handle the sale of an estate property. Living in Washington State and selling in California comes with its own set of unique challenges. Margaret, with Stacy Gwiazdon and the rest of her team went over and above my expectations in the preparation of the property, listing and working with potential buyers to achieve a rapid sale and coordinating the documentation signature process to close the sale. Their efforts led to three offers on the property within two weeks. In addition, there were several third party (HOA) issues that they aided me in addressing and closing to the satisfaction of myself and the ultimate buyer. Due to constraints by both the buyer and myself, Margaret was on the phone well past normal working hours to ensure that I understood what was happening. She and her team provided all of the sale documentation, answered all of my questions, and made sure that all was in proper order, such that I could sign off confident that there were no surprises. I would strongly recommend the Melville Group as real estate specialists to handle any property sales/purchases.

Margaret was the selling agent on our property when we purchased it. We had (fond? terrified?) memories of how she left our previous realtor nervous and unsure, and we knew we needed her as OUR selling agent. Margaret is the definition of Boss Lady - she gets stuff done and doesn't play. She successfully helped us navigate not one, but THREE offers on our property, and when the first two fell apart (due to flaky buyers), she locked us in on the third offer, and managed to get us through a 17 day escrow close. We had to do a contingent offer on the property we were trying to purchase, and she navigated that process seamlessly. We were still able to get the home we initially made an offer on, and I have no doubt that it was due solely to Margaret pulling strings and working magic behind the scenes. She communicates clearly, efficiently, and doesn't beat around the bush. I hope I never have to do this again, but if I ever do, I would work with Margaret again in a heartbeat.

Margaret is just the best realtor I've had, period! Over the past twenty five years, I bought four different homes and rented once. On each occasion I had a different realtor representing me and Margaret was, by far, the best of them all. Here is why: 1) She knows her market well and helped me price my house perfectly and to my satisfaction. And we sold it at that price. 2) She is extremely reliable and trustworthy. She is prompt in returning calls and following through her tasks promptly. 3) She has a great ecosystem around her to help with prepping the house, doing repairs for a reasonable price, helping with the mortgage etc. 4) She works hard to sell her listings. She held open houses, scouted for buyers, worked with my tenants to prep the house, tried to find financing for the buyers and all this with little to no encouragement or involvement on my part.
