I can't say enough wonderful things about my home buying experience with Mark. Given my taste, location and budget constraints I knew it would not be easy for me to find a place, and I was willing to wait. Mark never pressured me but was extremely proactive in finding houses that fit my criteria- often before they were on the market! I feel like he really educated me on the area, the market, prices, the bidding process etc. I had a solid foundation of what I wanted and what I was willing to spend - when I found my condo I was ready to act immediately. Mark was excellent in guiding me through the bidding and purchasing process, telling me exactly what I needed to do and taking care of most things for me. Overall, working with Mark was the best experience possible based on our short turn around time period in house hunting. Once we determined we were relocating to the DC area from San Francisco, Mark had only two and a half days to pull together an extensive list of homes I wanted to see during my househunting trip. Mark was professional but personal, prompt, organized and thorough in meeting my needs. Within 2 days, we looked at over 80 homes. Even after long days, Mark still ruthlessly worked in preparing for the next day of househunting and answers to all my follow-up questions. In addition, his background in building was so key in the search since we were mainly focusing on new construction. He knew about and pointed out construction quality or lack of quality and other features that I would not have focused on at a critical point in our decision process. In the final steps of our purchase, Mark hand held us through the processes of inspections, loans and other resources.This continued post purchase. That personal touch and sensitivity to our concerns about such a large investment, is what distinguishes Mark from other realtors we have encountered. We are in love with our home and neighborhood and much credit for this is due to Mark! I would highly recommend him to others
