Marla is not your average realtor! She is energetic, an extremely good communicator, and she would even respond to our emails late at night! Talk about dedicated!!Thanks to Marla, we recently sold our home in a difficult market. She used creative marketing strategies to increase the visibility and exposure of the home. The transaction went very smooth. Once our home was in escrow, we started a house hunt for a new home. Marla spent time looking for a new home for us, and sent us several property suggestions in accordance with the type of house and lot that we were looking for. She spent considerable time showing us potential properties, and would always make herself available when we wanted to see a property on short notice. She has been a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to anyone!
- Susan MMarla has been GREAT to work with. She has been tireless, enthusiastic, and efficent in her efforts to sell our home, and she has kept us updated every step of the way. I highly recommend to anyone, who is trying to buy or sell, that you choose Marla to represent you! You won't be sorry. :)
- Simon & Marilyn PentzWith Marlas invaluable assistance, we recently purchased a waterfront condo as a second home in Coeur dAlene. Our primary residence is in Southern California, so we required an extremely knowledgeable, intuitive, and responsive realtor. Marla was all these things and many more. Within a day of initial conversations, she was on the ground checking out properties and offering detailed critiques of candidate units. In a very short time (just days) we had tendered an offer. A quick trip up to ID confirmed the property as everything we could have hoped for, and start to finish we closed in barely 1-month (for a short-sale no less). All of this was possible only through Marlas unmatched professionalism, helpfulness and insight. Beyond this, Marla has been amazingly helpful after the sale. Her enthusiasm, warmth and sincerity really stand out. Marla is truly an exceptional realtor who very quickly becomes a friend and confidant. We recommend her to anyone wanting the very highest quality individual to assist with their real estate quest.
- Michael & Ana AMarla works literally tirelessly. I am not sure how. If I call, she gets back to me. If I text her, she gets back to me. If I e-mail her late at night with a quick question that popped up, she emails back. It is never, and has never been a long wait - usually a few minutes, and rarely more than an hour or two. My wife and I ask questions she most likely has been asked millions of times, but she really is an educator, mentor, and professional. She will listen. Think. Her answer will usually have a bit of historical value, then she applies her knowledge to your question, and provides a succinct and interpreted answer based on her extensive knowledge and experience. She is licensed in the Northwest and California. She has sold property, homes, businesses, and has provided a unique approach in learning your goals, and intergrating them into the process. She overall is patient. She has tenacity and perserverance that is untold. I have worked with many realtors. Her energy and her smile are infectious. She allows your decision to be placed at the top of her agenda all the time. She is respected by many Title Company Experts, whether the process is a cash sale, bank loan sale, short sale, or any other possibilities in the current market. It is so obvious she studies her real estate broker material, the marketplace, and the statistics. Overall, Marla in her House-Hunter-Zebra-painted vehicle is the real deal. If you want to be listened to, and then get results with the calm of knowledge, find Marla. Thanks.
- Dr and Mrs WThis review is for the discriminating buyer with specific needs who wants a superstar of a realtor on their on their side:We had been searching for the perfect house for about a year. We had very specific needs for our family of four and we needed it done on a budget. We tried working with several other realtors in Liberty Lake only to have the relationship fizzle out. All that changed the day we met Marla. She is and was the perfect agent for us. After looking at dozens of homes over the last year my wife had found Marla online somehow. I dont know how but, I call it luck. My wife had told Marla what we need in a home for our family. Marla arranged to look at a home she thought would be perfect for us the same day! And, no joke, she was right! Marla had found us a home that literally checked all the boxes for us. Good neighborhood, close to the school, three bed rooms on the same floor, big slightly secluded backyard, move in ready, and in our price range! Now, this is not my first or even second purchase. I have been down this road before. Finding a home and making an offer can be the easy part. But, many things can go wrong during escrow and this is where you need a seasoned pro. We had one, Marla! I am out of town on business 90% of the time. I could not be in town until after the home closed escrow. I had to count on Marla and my wife to get the job done without me being hands on and let me tell you this. Marla can handle whatever you throw at her and she does it with a smile. There were ZERO problems! The communication with Marla via email, text message, and phone conversation was perfect. I asked her to read through the relocation contract (which I was not familiar with) and find anything that should concern me and she did. I read through it pretty well and she founds things I did not! Sooo Helpful!! To have someone take their job seriously and look out for MY best interests is a breath of fresh air. She did this for us at every turn of the sale. Marla was there for us throughout the purchase of our home and that is a serious understatement. She visited the house regularly during one of the worst cold and snow periods I have seen since I have been living in Spokane to make sure the house stayed heated. She even went over the home on Thanksgiving! She met us at the loan doc signing just to make sure she was present for any questions and brought everyone gifts! Even the loan people got something. To be honest I could not be more grateful for Marlas hard work and dedication to us. I feel she is one of the most honest, hardworking, and best communicating, dedicated, positive, realtor I have ever met in my whole life (and I work with realtors in my line of business every week so I would know). When I say I cant say enough good things about Marla you can bet this is the truth. Do yourself a favor and give her a chance and let her get to work finding your dream. We did and we couldnt be happier
- Brian Scott AtkinsAs a seasoned property owner, I have gone through numerous sales and purchases and had my share of good and not so great experiences that one can expect during an escrow. Not so with Marla Lopez-McWilliams. Expect to deal with the very best of the best.I had the pleasure of working with Marla since I am executor to the estate of a family that owned a lake house in Coeur d'Alene, ID. Unfortunately, the owner had passed away at the end of the season, meaning that one would expect a long waiting period, most likely until next year, until the house sold. However, Marla's brilliant marketing plans had the house in escrow in no time at all. And even though an estate sale is more involved than your standard, everyday transaction, the escrow was by far the smoothest I have ever encountered. Marla was ALWAYS available, answered some e-mails in the middle of the night and knew all the angles. She had answers to all the unforeseen problems that cropped up. I told her she missed her calling as a lawyer.I know that Marla is licensed in quite a few states already but I hope she will get accredited in many more, just in case I should move to one that she currently doesn't cover. Yes, she is THAT good. If you want a great experience going through what can be stressful, buying or selling a home, do yourself a favor and contact Marla.
