A third generation Charlottean, Matthew attended Charlotte Christian High School and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. After college he immediately jumped into real estate working for two of the biggest national home builders in America, Centex and Lennar.
