  • Michael helped me buy a home

Micheal is awesome! He literally helped us find our dream home that we will raise our kids in. I can't recommend him enough. His knowledge of Pleasant Hill and the surrounding neighborhoods is on point. We knew nothing about the area. He's the BEST!

    • My wife and I originally started to scope out a place to live about 6 months before we knew we could actually start offering on houses since we needed to sell our other properties first. We had contacted two other realtors and briefly worked with them but they seemed to lose interest since our transaction would be months away from happening. That is when I reached out to Michael after reading his bio and learning he lived in Pleasant Hill which is where we were going to primarily be looking for a home. Michael immediately explained the process to me and set up an in person meeting at his office on a Saturday morning. We discussed the realtor-client relationship and also went over all the forms and aspects of purchasing a home in today's competitive climate. None of the other realtors even mentioned preparing us for the eventual purchase like Michael did.So during our meeting we set up some automated alerts for homes for sale in the areas that we decided on and throughout the entire process Michael asked for feedback so that he could better serve us once we were ready to purchase.Once we started looking for houses to offer on, my wife and I were even more impressed with Michael and his team. We set up multiple weekends in a row where we selected homes to view and a few others that Michael threw in to show us the differences in certain areas and price ranges. This was very helpful to see what we could afford and also be realistic about the whole process.Once we found the house we were looking for and were ready to present an offer, Michael expertly assisted in preparing a well presented and organized offer that got us the very first house we offered on. The house had many offers with most going well over asking. Michael guided us towards the right offer price considering our budget and the action on the property. We got the house without being the highest offer, in fact at least 3 offers were higher than ours.Needless to say, it really does matter when you select a realtor. You just can't overbid and expect to get a house in the current market, you need to be smart about your contingencies and well prepared. When I sold my other two properties, I saw first hand the difference in a well presented offer and a realtor who didn't pay attention to detail or follow the offering instructions. I strongly recommend Michael Moore as a realtor and now I can also call him a neighbor as he lives not far from the home we purchased.

    • We were so very fortunate to have Michael Moore as our real estate consultant when we embarked on our downsizing venture. After 44 years in our previous home, we appreciate his assistance and patience in guiding us through the rigors of loan papers, etc. After we moved, he is there to help us with any problems we might encounter.Mike is so very knowledgable in the real estate market. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy and settled in our new home.

    • Michael Moore embodies everything you would need/want from your Real Estate Agent. My wife and I felt like he really understood what was in our best interest. Very honest and up front. Had a clear laid out plan from start to finish. This being our first home he presented some of the evolutionary changes that might occur through the process and sure enough everything happened as he stated. The most impressive part of the process for me was the willingness to work with our very difficult time schedule. Often times I wouldn't be off work until after 8PM, I don't have weekend off either but Michael worked with us and our erratic availability. We are very happy in our new home and look forward to doing further business with Michael in the future.

    • My wife and I feel very fortunate to have had Michael as our realtor. He guided us through the process in an efficient, professional manner and made the home buying experience an enjoyable one. Michael provided his input/opinion when we asked, but never pressured us into something we were uncomfortable with. Most importantly, we found Michael to be a genuine person and someone we viewed as a friend by the end of the process. He made sure to be there in person for all of the important milestones.

    • Michael is actually the first realtor we met and work with, so we can't really make any comparisons, but we do feel the overall experience with Michael is excellent.Since we are first time home buyers, Michael first walked us through the entire home buying process so that we know what we will be dealing with. Then when we started visiting houses, Michael not only arranged all the houses we are interested to see in an one-day tour, he also made many good suggestions of houses that we didn't know about. From our interactions with Michael, we gathered that Michael has been doing business in the area for years, decades even, and needless to say that his knowledge of the neighborhood is outstanding.Clear communications, fast responses, honest and knowledgable in the business, all the skills that one look for in a real estate agent. I would strongly recommend Michael to anyone looking for an agent.

    • I was referred to Michael through a close friend who also bought his home and a relatives though him. I am a first time home buyer and the whole process seemed overwhelming (and still is to a certain extent). Michael and I had our first meeting and I had plenty of questions to ask. Mr. Moore took his time explaining the typical purchase agreement section by section and page by page. His explanations and thoroughness alleviated much of the stress. As he walked me through the documents he also highlighted certain sections that I needed to pay extra attention to. Michael asked me about my choice of locations and what my budget. From this point we hit the ground running. We toured several properties during hours and days convenient to me which I truly appreciated. As we approached locations Michael began to create a mental evaluation of the streets, neighbors and neighborhood. Upon entering the property Michael provided his own evaluation pointing out certain spots both positive and negative. Recently, I had to pull out of a contract because I wasnt sure I wanted to live in it. Lets put it this way, Im not sure what he did in the background, but he made the cancellation process less stressful. Important to mention, thanks to his expertise and connection I was able to get back my earnest money. Having said that, Im still on my hunt for a home with his assistance and Ill definitely come back here to write a final review once this whole process is over with, hopefully positively. In conclusion here are a couple of his key traits that makes him stand out in the industry: Takes his time in explaining questions Easily reachable, easily reachable and easily reachable (for emphasis) Patient and cordial Grew up locally so he knows his way around impressive negation skills Well connected 100% on your side

    • Michael Moore helped me buy a house in Walnut Creek. During the week I closed on my house, one of my co-workers said to me, "You must be really great at hiding your stress because there is no way I could be as calm as you are while buying a house."I said, "Actually, I have an incredible agent. He's made the whole process smooth and painless." But let me back-up. I chose Michael Moore after interacting with about a dozen real estate agents in the Walnut Creek area. Michael was the only agent to take the time to ask me a thoroughgoing set of questions about what I was looking for, what we wanted in a new house and what we didn't want. His approach was thoughtful and personalized. He quickly started making recommendations and showing us properties that fit our needs. Before long we settled on a house in Walnut Creek, and it was here that Michael's deep expertise and high touch service made the difference. I travel extensively for work and I was not even in the Bay Area for most of the process, but Michael handled every aspect of due diligence, inspection, offer and close masterfully. While this was not my first home purchase, it was by far the easiest purchase process I've ever experienced. It went off without a hitch. I give Michael the highest recommendation to anyone who expects and demands a lot from from their agent, especially those who have limited time. Michael is truly great at what he does and it comes through in every aspect of his client service.

    • ichael is very knowledgeable in the Bay Area. He will point out to you things that you will miss and he will never push you to do anything, it's all informed decisions. Great Realtor, definitely recommended.

    • Michael Moore provided invaluable service and information when it came time to sell my home. He conveyed accurate, up to date information about the market, set realistic expectations, and most importantly kept my goals and best interest at the forefront of the process. He was professional. He was on time. He was present. He was proactive and diligent with marketing, research, opportunities, appointments and making it happen. If you are entertaining the thought of buying or selling a home, I encourage you to have a conversation with Michael before you choose the Realtor you are going to work with.

    • Michael More is a true real estate professional! His experience gives him a wealth of knowledge in every aspect of the deal. His negotiation skills are outstanding because he understands the purchase contract for a successful outcome for everyone in the transaction. His customer service skills are second to none. Every call was answered or replied quickly; when we had questions he had answers! Michael Moore is our realtor for life!!

      - Bought a home in 2012.
    • I have known Michael only a short time and I am taking the time to write a review as Michael is proven to be a very professional and efficient Real Estate Professional. In a sea of Agents all boasting to be the "Top 1% " or the "#1 Agent In The Area", Michael has an ability to efficiently get right into the meat of the business and make a result happen! Our experience was really based on buying a home and Mike showed us how to be the most competitive with "Terms" and not just throw more money at the offer. In a market where foreign buyers are coming in with boatloads of cash and just throwing in bids, Mike got us in with an aggressive planned approach that included a comprehensive loan pre-approval with terms that were very aggressive yet attainable. - Bought 2000 in Pleasant Hill
    • We looked on our own for 15 years for the perfect home. After meeting Michael in late 2013 we described our needs & he found our dream home which we purchased in early 2014 for $1,599,000. He was the negotiator extraordinaire! His attention to detail throughout the process was both professional and personal. We truly knew he was going the extra mile for us. Even his follow-up on the sale and helpful hints on shopping, activities and traffic in the area were above and beyond. We would trust him with our "first born" and that is why we are now having him sell our old home. Michael "is the man" to get it done.

      - Bought a home 2014 in Martinez,

He helped me find the right home after many months of looking at a variety of homes in different cities and neighborhoods. • For over a year my wife and I were aggressively searching for homes in the East San Francisco Bay during an ever increasing hot market. We were competing against contractor flippers, international cash investors and a supply/demand market that drove over-bidding, which was scary and time consuming. Michael earned our trust through is unrelentless efforts to escort us around the eastbay and was quick to recover when we were out-bid. We respected Michael so much based on his knowledge, work ethic and trust that we decided to stick with him even though even though we ended up purchasing a home in Livermore outside of his primary areas of Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Danville and Clayton. In this market and really any you need people you can trust, people who are dependent and patient and will continue to stick by you when things don't go your way. Whether you are a first time home owner, blue collar or white collar.....Michael is your guy and you can catch him co-hositng a Real Estate Hour on KDOW 1220AM at 1PM on Saturdays. Please accept this note as our highest endorsement of a realtor....

    • I would recommend Michael Moore to anyone. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and responsive to every question I had. If I had any concerns, he would address them immediately and I felt that he was a part of my team in negotiating a deal for my new home. You can count on Michael, he is amazing.

    • Michael is a consummate professional and one of the best Real Estate professionals we have ever been connected with. His follow-up was impeccable, and genuinely took the time to understand the specific needs for our new home. He was patient with us, and educated us at every step in the process. This purchase was an important part of our lives so we built a great team with Michael at the center. We highly recommend working with Michael Moore.

      - Bought a Single Family home in 2012 in Brentwood,
    • During our "looking" phase of finding a home we met many agents. One Sunday we met Michael as we viewed one of his open houses. Right away we enjoyed his casual but professional style...clearly someone who enjoys his profession! It impressed us that Michael was the only one who followed up with us in a professional timely manner. He worked with us "where we were at" by not being pushy or overwhelming. He is genuine, kind & intelligent! When we found the home of our dreams, a bank owned property, Michael went to bat for us by driving the negotiations dealing with a stubborn, slow acting bank. He made us feel like we were his only clients (which we were not) by guiding us through our first home purchase in a difficult market. Today we are very happy in our new home and feel even better having saved a bundle of money; Thanks to Michael's swift, smart negotiations. Don't hesitate to work with him.

    • Michael Moore is a fantastic realtor. He meets with you initially and if you wish you make a plan with him which outlines everything that will occur in selling your house. If you wish to just put a "for sale" sign on you lawn and sell it as it is, he supports you. If you wish to make improvements in order to sell it for more, he supports you. He does not push or bully. Most importantly to me, he believes in being proactive, and not reactive which protects you from unforeseen mishaps. He is courteous, knowledgeable, experienced and most of all very giving of his time. He met with me at least 15 times in two months giving his best advice and recommendations. The people he advises you to work with are the best in the business! Unbelievable, he will help you even much after the sale is over with.as in when I called him to ask him a favor 8 months after my house sold. He graciously came through for me proving that he really is a kind person as well as a consummate professional

    • Michael Moore represented us in our recent search for a home in Discovery Bay. He did an outstanding job and we were able to find, buy and close on our home all in a 5 week time frame. Michael handled everything from the start, making this whole process a very pleasant experience. Communication was very proactive, timely and honest. He made sure all the appropriate inspections were completed, handling all of the details and even after the house closed he arranged to have it deep cleaned, carpets cleaned and provided a handyman to take care of the small and minor repairs that were needed. These extras are priceless -- to be able to move into a home that is ready to be occupied is a very special perk. We would recommend Michael to anyone who is looking for a new home and wants it to be a seamless, painless smooth transaction. He takes care of you from the beginning to the end. You're in good hands if you choose Michael as your Realtor.
