Michael Rappel

Mike was born and raised in the Chicago area and grew up in the Northshore suburb of Northbrook and attended high school at Loyola Academy in Wilmette. After attending college at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and earning a degree in media management Mike moved back to Chicago to start a career in communications. Working for five years at a large broadcast company in Chicago was a very rewarding experience, but he always knew that he wanted to persue his true passion -- real estate. In 1995 Mike obatained his broker's license and began his real estate career at a small commercial real estate firm in the city where he met his current business partner. After gaining immearsurable experience there Mike and Roy ventured out on their own and in December of 1997 they founded the R. Hawthorne Group, Ltd.
