Our current listing with another realtor was expiring, so we decided to start fresh and list with Michelle in January. We joked about them working as if our house was a "Million Dollar Listing" because WE thought it was going to be difficult for them to sell it in the middle of winter, with an in-ground pool and 15 stairs leading up to the front door. The house had been on and off the market for over three years, listed FSBO and with other realtors. It offered plenty of square footage, updated and remodeled, but we couldn't change the laundry room being in the basement, the stairs leading to the main level, or the stairs leading to the bedrooms and office. (A neighbor kid called it the step-house) We were very limited on who was going to want to buy the house. Michelle pretty much guaranteed she would have no problem selling it. She brought in a professional photographer, printed up color flyers, set out all the signs, and began the showings almost immediately, sometimes several a day. In less than 5 weeks, with the pool closed, the grass dormant, the flower pots empty, the sunsets gray and the stairs leading to the front porch covered in snow, we had an offer! Michelle accomplished in just a couple of months what we and other realtors, could not do in years...and stuck with us through the closing of our home and purchasing another, making the transition as soon-to-be empty nesters, way more easier!
