More about Mike Welsch
I was born in Lake County, Illinois at St. Therese Medical Center (what is now Vista Medical Center West) in Waukegan. I grew up in Park City and also split time living in Waukegan. I went to grade school at Woodland School District 50 in Gages Lake and then went to Warren Township High School in Gurnee. I played two years of soccer and was in the concert and show choirs for all four years. My senior year I moved to Hainesville and lived in Deer Point Trails but was able to stay and graduate from Warren.
After high school I went to CLC (College of Lake County) and got earned my associates degree in arts. I then moved to Vernon Hills where I lived for two years. I moved back to Hainesville and bought my house where I have lived since. I recently (2012) graduated from Columbia College’s Gurnee campus and earned my Bachelor’s degree.
