I met Mikki 4 years ago recommended by a colleague at work. I was in the process of relocating to San Diego, CA, and needed to sell my house in Moncks Corner, SC. At the time, the current home prices were a bit low so Mikki recommended that I rent the house for a few years. She even recommended a great property management company, which I ended up using. Fast forward 4 years later and I was finally ready to sell. I spoke with Mikki to list the house up for sale. She said she could talk with the current tenants to see if they were interested in purchasing my house. This was the first time I have ever tried selling a house so she expertly explained the process and provided recommendations. Long story short she was able to get the current tenants approved and they purchased the home at asking price. Mikki and her team were great to work with! first bought my home back in 2012 which was my first encounter with their team. They proved to be experts in the Charleston area and in guiding me through the process of my first time home purchase. Then throughout my home ownership, they have helped guide me through managing upkeep and adding value to my home and eventually timing the market sale. Starting with the listing meeting, Mikki showed great knowledge of the Charleston market and outlining the comparable sales in the region. Their insight was helpful on our initial walk through for planning reasonable repairs and then coordinating repairs with trusted contractors. I was across the country through most of this process, so they were very flexible about talking at early or late hours along with visiting the house on my behalf while contractors were performing work at the house and ensuring the work was done to appropriate standards. When it came to the negotiations and the closing process, this is where they showed great skill in getting the property closed. I feel Mikki and Shannon were great advocates to help complete the sale but also worked to ensure we had a satisfactory outcome from my perspective.
