I got my license just when the market started to crash in 2006. A lot of realtors stop selling homes when the economy went down. Me, on the other hand, took that opportunity to learn the market. In a very short period of time I learned how to start and closed a short sale transaction. I was able to get foreclosed home listings through my broker. That's 12 years ago and I still stay afloat with my real estate business.
