  • Nancy and I connected, but did no business

My recommendation is that you stay FAR AWAY from the Lovette Properties Team. After a month of back and forth on an offer, I missed a deadline the Lovette's gave me on the purchase of my house. OK, the deal is dead. It is over. No hard feelings. The very next day, there is an email from Nancy Lovette. She writes, Bryant Lovette asked me to resubmit the Buyer's Offer to you but without the Additional Provisions with the expiration date/time. I accept. I sign the offer and move forward on securing a rental with a $1700 deposit. For the next five days, I ask for a copy of the initialed agreement. They say yes, right away. After my deposit check for my rental home is cashed, I am told that the buyer felt strung along and is NOT going to initial the agreement. Excuse me...but If she is not going to initial the removal of the addendum, then why in the world did she even present it to me in the first place? Was this intentional? What type of "professional" am I dealing with. Their word means NOTHING! Even their written word! They offered, I accepted, then they days later, they say no, they're not going to initial their own offer? I only gave the rental a deposit because I have a sales contract in my hands and an email which shows the buyer's and the agent's authorization to remove the 5pm Friday addendum. Now they tell me they have no intention of following through. Who is going to cover the $1700 deposit I made for my rental ON THEIR WRITTEN WORD? Nobody, that's who. They have been the worst experience of my life and I hope you steer clear of them as well. Their word means NOTHING. Not even in writing!
