He was always available and had an answer forevery question (with a newborn, might I add!). He wasvery helpful in pointing us to several different locationswhere we could expect a good-sized home for ourbudget. Patrick is the person you want on your sidewhen it comes to negotiations. March 1 2017We were first introduced to Patrick Roppolo through arealtor friend of my husband. When we first met Patrick,he was polite, professional and very honest (all GREATthings when dealing with a real estate agent, in myopinion). We met out at a house in Elgin that fit our"wants", but ultimately was going to be too difficult tomake work with our situation.Patrick was very eager to help us...and then we droppedthe bomb on him: we had abysmal credit scores, myhusband and I were about to get married, my husbandwas leaving his job, AND we were trying to get a VAloan on a mobile home. Trust me - Patrick had no ideawhat kind of crazy he was getting himself into, and ourdeal was not for the feint of heart.I imagine he had to take a few deep breaths before hemade the decision to take this challenge on: We werefar from the ideal customers that real estate agentshope for, but we had above average personalities andwe made him laugh - I'm sure that this was our only realsaving grace. On January 7th, we put our offer in on thehouse. At that time, we had almost 100 points to gain onour credit scores, my husband's job was iffy and wewere trying to plan our wedding around hopefully buyingthis house...This was only the very beginning of thehellacious experience with the loan company/officers. Iwon't go into too many details, but we dealt witheverything from incompetent loan officers, an inefficientunderwriter and frankly, some of the worst people I haveever done business with in my entire life. It took us overtwo months of painful back and forth with the loancompany, missing two close dates, and ALMOST losingour interest rate lock before we closed on 3/20/17.But Patrick? Patrick was absolutely PHENOMENAL,there is no other way to describe his amazing efforts toget this deal closed. This man was available to us dayor night, work week or weekend - his phone was gluedto him. I can't tell you how amazingly helpful andreassuring he was, or how expedient andknowledgeable he is. Quite frankly, if Patrick hadn'tbeen our agent, we would have given up on our dreamhome after the first or second week. This man is a gem,and we are so grateful for his commitment to helping usattain the dream my husband and I had for our family,and our future.We have nothing but the utmost respect and gratitudefor Patrick and the work that he does, and if we everhave any need for a real estate agent in the future, wewill absolutely reach out to Patrick.
