It was a wonderful experience working with Peter Ferguson. We were relatively inexperienced at home buying, and relatively new to the DC area. We were lucky to randomly connect with Peter when we started looking at homes. He is knowledgeable about the area and the process. He was very easy to work with and communicate with. He perceptively listened to, and noticed, what we were interested in in a home and a neighborhood, and really helped us to find good candidate houses and navigate the tricky process of making offers, assessing value, negotiating, etc. Ultimately he helped us find a house that is perfect for us and then expertly guided us through the steps leading to purchase. Peter has been invaluable in helping us find and close on our home. When we first started looking, we were worried that we would end up with a pushy agent who would press us to buy as quickly as possible. Peter was completely different. He was patient, knowledgeable, and responsive. Rather than trying to force any and all available homes down our throats, he took the time to learn what we were looking for and then brought us some leads with no pressure. Peter was a tremendous asset, without his knowledge, experience and candor I would not have found the home that fit all my requirements and more. He was timely everyday and patient with my lack of knowledge of the adjoining areas. He spent numerous hours showing me the civic areas, public transportation, parks and shopping areas within my desidered area. He listened to my requirements and wants within the home I was trying to find and only showed me homes that fit my needs. Peter is by far the best realtor I have dealt with, I appreciated his candor, knowledge and commitment for finding the perfect home for my family.

We were so fortunate that Peter was on the other end of a Zillow listing that we were interested in. He responded immediately to our inquiry and was incredibly accommodating in showing us several properties on short notice - and finding properties that he recognized we would like. He really went the extra mile both in research and service. While we haven't had the opportunity to work with him in a negotiation or contract situation yet, we feel very comfortable with his practical approach and supportive style.

Peter was extremely helpful coordinating showings and working around my schedule as an out-of-state buyer. For properties that I was not able to see, he took the time to visit listings, take photos & videos to send to me. Always responsive, it seemed as if Peter was in constant communication with me over e-mail & phone/text messaging.

Peter was a fantastic resource in our home search. With the internet tools available, it is not as difficult to find homes for sale but it is still very important to have a knowledgeable advocate at your side. Peter was not pushy and fully understood our needs. He was always immediately available for any questions we may have had usually responding within 15 minutes whether on the weekend or during the workday. He helped us navigate the tricky process of buying a home and gave us honest advice on how to proceed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Peter to a friend.

Peter is very responsive. Anything he doesn't know, he will find out for you. We were interested in a particular property, which sold before we were ready, but Peter helped us a lot as first time home buyers and got us answers to all our questions.

Peter was exceptional in helping me to find a new home, understand the process, and complete the purchase. I live overseas, so had to rely on Peter a great deal to identify potential homes fitting my family's needs, viewing those homes, and relaying the information about those homes to me. He looked at a lot for me, and found our new home. Over the past few years we have moved many times and bought and sold a few houses in major cities. Hands down, Peter Ferguson, is the BEST realtor we have ever worked with ever! We started our search in the fall of 2015 in DC. We changed our minds about what area and what type of house we wanted many times. Peter was our "rock" as they say. He kept us grounded and sane during the very difficult process of finding a house in the DC area. What I liked best about working with Peter was that he never once tried to sell us a house or push us into something we didn't like. He was 100% honest with us the entire time even if it meant loosing a sale. Peter's main priority was for us to find a house that was not only a good investment, but a house that we loved and worked for us. He never ever pushed us or pressured us into anything. Peter would promptly get us into see houses and had access to houses that weren't even on the market yet. He would show us a house the minute we wanted to see it, he was always responsive, available and knows everything about the DC area. He took the time to answer all our questions and concerns with complete honesty. Even after the closing he continued to work with us helping us with a few post inspection issues. We joke that we will miss talking to Peter on a daily basis now that we have finally found a house. Peter is an honest, kind, very nice and very smart person. We will miss working with him! We can not recommend him highly enough!

Peter went above and beyond in our home buying process. He knows the area extremely well, answered any questions we had by text, call, or email with an almost immediate turn around time. He provided tons of comps for us and explained in detail how coops work in DC. He always had our concerns in mind first and we never felt as if he was pushing us to do anything. He was realistic and down to earth, always giving us the facts straight. I don't think we could have been any luckier - Peter was professional, flexible, and had a great sense of humor, all of which are necessary in the home buying process as often times there are many ups and downs. We found our dream apartment thanks to Peter! If we decide to sell or buy again, Peter is the first person we are calling.

Peter was without a doubt the sole reason for the success we had with buying our home. He went above and beyond to find homes that best fit what we were looking for and gave honest opinions on areas and locations of other homes.
