Phil and Jill worked with us to find the perfect home for my wife, my son, and I. They were extremely patient during periods where we didn't have the time to fully commit to the search, or the financing in place in order to make a serious run for a desirable property. They truly made us feel as though finding the right home was their priority first and foremost. Because of that loyalty to us, along with their professionalism, extensive knowledge, and overall great attitude, we closed on a house recently and feel like we've found a place we will call home for many years to come! I would like to offer my comments on my experiences with Phil and Jill Keppel. Phil and Jill sold my home in Upland, CA in 2011. The worked as seamless team in maximizing our sale price and their outstanding professionalism was obvious at every step of the sale process. Phil was recommended to me by a contractor friend in Burbank where Phil and Jill are based. At first I was hesitant to use a realtor nearly 50 miles away from the home to be sold which was in Upland. But at my first meeting with Phil and Jill at the Upland home I was extremely impressed with his marketing ideas and what they planned to do in marking our home that I eagerly had them represent the property. The distance between their home base in Burbank and home to be sold in Upland was a non-factor. Each of them had wonderful, cost effective ideas on some small things we needed to do prepare the house for proper marketing. We complied and did exactly what they said.. After the house was prepared Jill came out and staged the house and when she was done it looked like a model home. Phil produced a video that was placed on the internet which highlighted our property. This video was professionally produced at their own cost and had the appearance of a "Hollywood" production - very professional and informative. I can't offer enough praise for this production in the marketing our home. In addition , they had an open house and within a week or so we had a solid offer to purchase the home at exactly the price that they had recommended as the offering price. At this point I need to add that we had once before unsuccessfully attempted to market the home with another local realtor at a price 10% lower than the sale price that Phil and Jill got for us. During the entire process both Phil and Jill were available for questions and help 24/7 by phone, email and/or text messaging. Contacting either one was like contacting the other, so in effect we had two realtors working on our behalf. I would highly recommend Phil and Jill Keppel for any of your real estate needs. My wife and I purchased a home in 2011 with Phil and Jill. We had been looking at homes for a number of years before we met the Keppels at an open house in Burbank. Their easy going style and knowledge of the area put us at ease. Though we had already found the home when the Keppels became our agents, they saw us through the purchase process. At a certain point it became necessary to negotiate a couple of items with the seller and the Keppels handled it perfectly. After not having an agent for so long, it's great to have found ones we have confidence in. We will happily use them again.

After a horrible experience with another Realtor, my wife and I were refereed to Phil and Jill by a family friend. We were in a horrible situation, with our stress level at an all time high. The calming, positive attitude that Phil and Jill had made for an awesome experience! They were able to find us our house in a very timely manner, with ALL the options we wanted. Phil and Jill's communication with all parties involved, are second to none. They were always returning our text messages, phone calls, emails, very promptly, even while they were on vacation. After saving for eight years, my husband and I were excited and nervous purchasing a house together. Finding the right location, school, neighborhood, and giving up all our saving in one purchase had us very anxious. But Philip was the perfect realtor for us and although we were looking at houses 30 miles outside of his area, he was there time and time again to show us properties and once in escrow he was with us during inspections, final walk through and all the different times we needed to visit the property in-between. He researched areas for us and gave us all the information we needed to make the right choice for us. His upbeat and friendly personality got us through some of the difficult ups and downs of the process and he generously brought small gifts and trinkets to help entertain our three year old daughter who was always along with us on house hunting excursions. On top of being a fantastic realtor, Philip is a fantastic guy and even if you are not in the market to buy a house, he is someone you should get to know!

Just before the escrow closing date, my lender required additional information that was not available to me at the time. Philip did a great job getting the lender to timely approve my loan without it. With a background in construction work, he was also very helpful determining the cost to repair various problems with listed properties I visited as well as the the property I bought.

Phil Keppel and his wife Jill of Media West Realty are my champions! They worked tirelessly for me and with me to get my home ready for sale. Throughout the process I knew what to expect and when. Because of their knowledge and patience, my home sold quickly and effortlessly at a great price! I'm grateful for their help and would recommend them to anyone in the market to sell or purchase a home. You won't regret it.

This was our first time buying a house in California and it is really like no other market in the country. We ran into a lot of issues with various owners but Phil navigated us through the craziness that is the Southern California housing market. He worked hard to get us connected with a great lender as well as a great home inspector. Phil was always available for conversations or meetings and showed nothing but professionalism and patience. We've know Phil and Jill for almost 10 years and consider them dear friends. I truly believe that if you work with them you will also consider them as friends as well.

We cannot speak highly enough about Phil Keppel!!!!!! He was with us every single step of the way and we're so proud to now have transitioned from a realtor/buyer relationship to a true friendship! My husband and I just bought our first home. This is a terrible market for a buyer to try to get a house, but Phil made it as joyful of an experience as you could hope something as terrifying as jumping into home ownership can be! He was patient with us (through our many months of searching and TONS of open houses -- my husband started joking that he was our friend Phil who just really liked going to open houses with us), never pushed us and always reminded us our offers needed to make sense for US. We always knew with every offer we submitted that the combination of our buyer letter matched with his honesty, authenticity and great personality, that we'd be a shoe in. And we were always very competitive in the running. When we finally landed ourselves in escrow with a deal we were happy about, he guided us through every step of that too and helped us navigate our way to getting exactly what was fair and made sense to us. We walked out of escrow at closing extremely happy and confident we'd found the right house for us at a price we felt we could afford.We're honored to know Phil and BEYOND grateful we stumbled into one of his open houses. Philip helped us find the perfect house and helped us to sell our old home. He was kind, knowledgeable and patient. He answered our questions and was always quick to respond when he reached out to him. Whenever we needed a resource, repairs, inspections, etc. Philip had recommendations and got things moving along. We worked with Phil to buy our 1st home. He is very approachable and friendly, and we felt comfortable with him right away after meeting him and his wife at an open house. Phil knew the market extremely well, and gave us invaluable advice.Long story short, we had made a quick decision that we wanted to place an offer on a home, and he worked immediately to put together a competitive offer. Put in mind, we decided to make this offer at 9pm. By mid-morning the following day, we were informed our offer was accepted by the seller after just going on the market. We were lucky, as there were additional competing offers later that day, but ours was accepted due to the fact it was written and presented to the seller before any others. We are very thankful, and fortunate of the extra hours put in by Phil to get us our place. He never changed attitude/pace even after we had seen 100+ homes, and had 4 other offers not accepted (due to cash buyers).We had the best possible experience with buying our home, and Phil was a huge part of that. He is professional, responsible, responsive, and a great guy. It was a pleasure working with him, and now we continue to stay in touch with him and his wife Jill as friends. I have recommended Phil to others, and will continue to do so. Those I've recommended have purchased homes with Phil, and continue to say nothing but positive things about him, along with their home buying experience.

The reoccurring thing you will hear about Phil whether it be on Yelp or elsewhere is that he feels like a friend. He is! And not in that disingenuous "used car salesman" way. The integrity is apparent upon meeting him. I put Phil through the paces for years before buying. The number of homes he's shown me In the 4 or 5 years are countless! When the time came to finally buy he helped sell a very difficult townhouse in order to buy a pool home in a fabulous area with minimal stress. Phil Keppel should be voted "Real Estate Agent of the Year" in Los Angeles!

Phil helped me and my wife buy a condo in Burbank just last year. As anyone who has attempted to buy a home anywhere in the Burbank area can tell you, it's not an easy process. It was difficult and nerve wracking. Phil and Jill were with us every step of the way. Jill even watch our 4-year-old so we could look at properties without having to keep track of a little guy. Phil showed us properties at all hours and was available anytime we needed to be talked off the ledge (which was frequent). He helped us navigate the process and get through escrow. He showed up at the place and tested lights and even offered to help with some neglected maintenance. Both Phil and Jill are good souls and we couldn't be happier with our place.

My wife and I just bought our first home together. We met Phil randomly while out at open houses and immediately liked him. He was knowledgeable, easy going, and most importantly for us, not pushy. He was there to help, not make a sale. We signed on with Phil and we couldn't have been happier with our choice.
