Stanley Lam

I filed an application for rental with Stanley Lam and he was very responsive in setting up a viewing and taking an application. He got back to me within hours to give me the information to deposit the application fee. After that I didn't hear back from him for a week, multiple emails later, finally got a curt response that they had multiple applications and would make a decision that weekend. It's understandable that they have options but I would expect to be kept informed. I waited another week and a half before contacting him, I thought he would at least let us know if they rented to another party but received no response. I emailed again after I confirmed that he never ran my application (at least he never checked contacts or banking information) and still have heard nothing. I'm not sure if it's just incredibly incompetent service or a scam. Either way, I would recommend avoiding any kind of business dealing with Stanley Lam.
