Suresh Narayan

Suresh Narayan is a fraud. Gladwin D’Costa is his partner in crime. Suresh worked with us when we bought our 1st home in 2017. So when we decided to buy our second house in 2021 Suresh was our 1st choice. Unfortunately, he misled us to charge us more money based on false information. Initially he told us he charges higher amounts for re-sale homes because he has to do more paperwork. For New homes he would split the commission 50% because he doesn’t have to do much. The day we signed our contract with the builder he said he will charge us 70% of the broker commission. When I asked why he gave us several reasons, he said he got us some credits and lower prices because of his great working relationship with the builder. I bought it and moved on happily. Couple of months later I found the builder was providing the credits and offers for all customers and I was no exclusive customer because of Suresh. When I confronted Suresh about his lies he notoriously went into hiding and would not reply to my emails and texts, probably because he knows he is very well protected with the contract and I am at the loss end. Suresh just hid into his nest and would not reply. He acted like a snake in disguise. Then I requested him to match what he committed thinking since he was wrong, he is too stubborn to change that. I tried to reach Gladwin D'Costa, the Broker and partner in crime. He defended Suresh and told me that since they are receiving higher commissions I changed my mind and started chasing them, I just requested them to match as Suresh committed. They would not accept that Suresh lied to us. FYI - I presented them the reasons Suresh gave us to charge more and the proof that the builder was offering those credits to everyone. I was disheartened to see such working ethics from Suresh. We trusted him with our real estate search but here we are. We were also planning to sell our current house with him. Suresh is a sweet guy, loves to talk big and is a good storyteller. MY FAULT: I trusted Suresh too much and I did not ask him about his contribution in writing before I signed the contract with the builder. Suresh is sneaky, he will take advantage of every mistake you make, very quietly. My tips: 1) Avoid Dealing with them, no matter what company names they use to represent themselves. 2) If you are dealing with them, talk to other realtors and find the one with better contributions. 3) Most importantly, get a written note on his contribution before every offer is submitted or signing a contract with a builder (I made this mistake trusting Suresh) Companies he have been associated with; Maryland Premiere properties, Laurel MD Maryland Reo Realty, Laurel MD Execu Homes, Columbia MD
