Susanne Franz

I am a first generation American. My parents immigrated to the USA in the mid 1960's from Germany. I've been to Germany many times and am fluent in speaking the language. As a teen adult I attended, and graduated from, United Health Careers Institute in San Bernardino, 1984. I worked in the medical field for twelve years with increasing responsibilities, including supervisory. In the 1990's I worked for the California Dept. of Corrections (CDC) as a correctional officer for 2 years, before starting our family in 1997. Since then I have been working at home raising, and often homeschooling, our four children. In 2011, I started a 501c3 non-profit organization, serving senior citizens, and people with special needs, with therapy dogs.
