Tim recently helped us find a perfect home in DC. We met Tim at an open house and we did not know what we could afford in the DC market. Tim patiently helped us with the search and took us to see the properties we were interested in. DC is a competitive market and we learned it the hard way after a few tries on the properties we really liked. Tim stayed by our side and never encouraged us to make risky moves, such as making offers to properties that were clearly overpriced, just to get the deal done. We are very happy with him and we would recommend him to anyone that is looking to buy in DC/Maryland area.

Timothy Phelps, if I could give him 10 stars or more I would. Tim is a SUPERB realtor. We used him for selling our current home, finding a temporary housing/rental, and searching for a new house. Tim does his work very well, thus the comment at the beginning of this review. He WORKS VERY HARD to satisfy and make his clients EXCEPTIONALLY HAPPY. He reviews any contracts before sending it to his clients to sign. He makes sure that there are no red flags in the contract that can hurt his clients. He can be easily reached and returns emails and calls promptly (most of the time within the same business day). He is very thorough and educates his clients very well during the process. He ABSOLUTELY PROTECTS his clients interest during the process. He has excellent negotiating skills. He is a pleasure to work with as a realtor and to note, we are a client that can be very demanding and not easy to please. Tim always tells me my duty is to protect your interest and make you happy as my client.

Tim was such a great help to us in buying our first home! He was informative, understanding, and guided us through the daunting process without a hitch. He did not pressure us but allowed us time and space to make our own decision about our home and how to proceed. In making an offer, he laid out all the possible things we could do to make a competitive offer, gave us the pluses and minuses of each option, and gave us his recommendation without pushing us. With is advice on the offer as well as a very nice cover letter with the offer which explained a bit about our family, our offer was picked over a higher monetary offer and allowed us to secure the perfect home for our family. He was very focused on developing a relationship with us and not just getting the sale. His honesty and patience were the traits I most valued in Tim. I would highly recommend taking a meeting with him, listening to what he has to say, and I believe you will find him as warm, knowledgeable, and respectful as I did!

As first time home-buyers, Tim was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. From the moment we met him we felt comfortable around him. We never felt like there was a question that we couldn't ask. Within a week of meeting Tim we were putting our first, and ultimately final offer on a property. He provided us with data and specific information about the home buying process that helped us to make our decision. If I could rate Tim more than five stars, I would. He deserves it. Tim is a realtor that is there for you from start to finish. He responds within 24 hours, if not, within hours of contacting him. He is like a one-stop-shop realtor. He has a network of resources to ensure that your real estate transaction will be executed without a hitch. I am not a first time home buyer, but he taught me the ins and outs of real estate buying and selling. He explained and reviewed with me the documents before signing it to make sure I am not signing myself into a pitfall. He ALWAYS protects his client's interest. During walk-throughs, he would point out potential issues and suggest potential renovations. He was also very helpful during our home inspection. As first-time buyers, we had a lot of questions.
