Born and raised in Oklahoma, I know the terrain extremely well. I lived on the NW side of Oklahoma City until I was 21 years old. At that time, I relocated to pursue a degree in Providence Rhode Island, attending Johnson & Wales University. There I received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Entrepreneurship with an Associate’s in Culinary Arts. I completed an internship in Bermuda, where I spent four months working in a small restaurant in St.George. It was quite amazing to wake up every morning to blue water and nice weather!
Post graduation, I moved to Las Vegas and spent a little over a year working at the Venetian Hotel and Casino at one of Emeril’s restaurants. After my time in Vegas, I relocated to Washington DC–actually a small town right outside, in Virginia—where I worked for a private dining facility in Tyson’s Corner (located on the border of DC).
