Wendy made the whole process of buying a home practically painless. We gave her our criteria and she followed it to the letter. She showed us many homes, ran all the tax numbers for us, and when we finally decided on a home, walked us through the process of making the best offer possible that would win us that home. Since we live a couple of hours away, she was able to get the appropriate folks to do the inspections and was also present for us during those inspections. Her paperwork was easy through DocuSign and she communicated everything that was going on throughout the entire process. I found Wendy (and her husband Robert--husband and wife team) through clicking on one of those links for more info on a listing we saw online. Initially I wasn't sure about working with someone whom I had no knowledge of; as in this business one typically works with agents based on referrals. But I'm very happy and feel very fortunate to have met and chosen to work with Wendy. My family members and I are now on our 3rd transaction within 3 months with Wendy and there's more to come as other family members are also relocating to the Sacramento area. The first transaction was a new build purchase. Builder reps often frown upon buyers working with their own agent; but for us we absolutely felt the benefit of working with one (we walked away from one of the builders due to them not wanting to work with our agent for that reason, even though we liked the community and the house). For this 3rd and current transaction we didn't think we were going to get the house we wanted because we sort of "came late to the party" but Wendy was able to work with the selling agent to buy us the little extra time we needed to make a decision on an offer, and we are so thankful for that. Wendy spent a lot of time on the phone with me during our initial call. We had a complex request in trying to find a property we could rent part of and have a family member live in the other part. Since finances were a concern, she explained about the cost of utilities in different cities and how that would impact our budget as well. I really appreciated that because I wasn't even thinking of those costs. She also provided some creative brainstorming on how to get what we were looking for. We didn't end up going in that direction, but I really appreciated that she was thinking strategically. As a landlord herself, she was able to give some advice and perspective from that end as well. One other thing that makes Wendy a great asset to have on your team is that she has "a guy" for everything: loans, insurance, flooring, you name it, she knows someone who can help. Wendy Starr Sanchez is a phenomenal agent! I live in CT and found it necessary to sell my sisters home in Roseville, CA after she became disabled and was forced to move into a board and care. As luck would have it, I called a real estate agency and was connected to Wendy. She took full control. Because of my sisters illness, her home was in disrepair. Wendy found a # of contractors to do the painting, flooring, removal of a sunroom, installation of a new deck and a plethora of other things.
