When I left Cal Poly State University I had an education in broadcast journalism. I worked for 7 years in television as a Sports Anchor and reporter. During this time I met many interesting athletes from Barry Bonds to Jerry Rice. It was a lot of fun but I knew it was going to require a lot of moving from City to city as I worked my way up the ladder. I made the decision with my wife, Jen that we would move home to the Bay Area shortly after we started our family in 2004.
