Kathleen Wilson
Red Oak Realty
About Kathleen

Friends describe me as motivated and driven. Clients say I act as a therapist and reality check and “negotiate killer deals.” After 16 years selling homes, I still love wearing so many hats. Previously, I was a union organizer and public education campaign PR consultant. I am a born and bred advocate and feel the hum of what I do when I am fulfilling my innate drive to be both a benefactor and a competitor. On the one side, I am always looking for ways to meet your deeper needs and be of service. On the other side, I thrill in the “win” for a buyer in a multiple offer scenario or securing the highest price for a seller during intense negotiations. When you work with me, the Olympian inside of me is harnessed to help you reach your goals. Equally important is the relationship I build over time with you, the client. Referrals are the bread and butter of my business. A referral tells me I have truly helped someone in a meaningful way. And there you have my transparent motivation: to deliver such a “WOW” level of service that you refer your friends, family, and co-workers to me. I am full of gratitude every day to be able to be of service, and at the same time fiercely negotiate and advocate for clients, strategizing wins both big and small. If you want a Realtor that tells it like it is, prioritizes you and makes you feel listened to, I am that Realtor. If you need a hard driving, aggressive advocate who is strategic in representing your best interests, I am that Realtor. You don’t have to sacrifice the strategic smarts, negotiating skills and market expertise to experience the responsiveness and caring you want in a service provider. With me, you get both. I have lived in the Bay Area for almost 30 years - specifically in Albany, California. My husband John (like me a serial entrepreneur) and I have two kids, 12 year old Max and 8 year old Ella. I am an avid sci fi book and movie fan and travel all around the world with my family, instilling a sense of adventure and compassion in my kids. I chose to work with Red Oak Realty because it is an independent, Oakland-based, woman-owned firm with offices in Berkeley and Oakland versus a national office that would siphon off resources. That gives my clients the competitive advantage, with things like an in-house marketing team, a dedicated PR firm, and a 15-to-100 staff to agent ratio. My statistics*: Over 190 transactions Over $145,000,000 in sales volume My listings sell for an average of 26% over asking My listings are on the market for an average of 16 days Receive 30-60 referrals a year Average sales price for listings: $1,150,000 Average sales price for buyers I work with: $1,078,000 A single family home expert, Kathleen ranks in the top 6% of 6,941 Oakland agents* Top Oakland seller's agent, Kathleen ranks in the top 9% of 6,941 Oakland agents* *Source: MLS & HomeLight. About Declan

I’m an Irish-born 17-year resident of the Bay Area who lives in Albany with my wife and our two daughters. I’ve lived in San Francisco, Berkeley, Pt Richmond and Marin. My choice is the East Bay. My real estate career began as a commercial real estate researcher for a national corporation and then as a professional architectural photographer. I’ve been licensed as a Realtor since 2004. Having traveled extensively internationally, I value the Bay Area as an absolutely incredible place to live. Since 2007 I’ve been working with a lot of first-time buyers. The thrill in handing over the keys to someone closing on their first purchase is unparalleled. I’ve spent a great deal of time representing buyers in bank-owned transactions (REOs), and listing short sales over the past two years. My clients flatter me with praise and are keen to refer me whenever possible to family and friends. They understand that this is the cornerstone of my business philosophy. Daniel Winkler
Winkler Real Estate Group
About Daniel

Hi, I’m Danny. Of course, I help clients buy and sell their homes. I also manage all phases of real estate marketing and development, including multiple large sales management projects for various Bay Area builders and developers. I love what I do. And when we meet, my enthusiasm will be palpable. Here’s what matters: honesty, generosity, and persistence. I believe it’s important to take care of others and to support them in achieving their dreams. Running Winkler Real Estate Group as its founder and President has been an incredible experience. With terrific growth every year, we never lose sight of the key to our success: happy, satisfied customers. We are never too busy to say “thank you.” And a handshake is our word. Almost three decades ago I was a newly licensed agent working in San Francisco. An entrepreneur at heart, in 2001 I struck out on my own. Heeding the maxim “If you rest, you rust" it wasn’t long before I hired a business manager and my first agent. Together we formed a start-up, and over the years the business flourished. Today more than 30 agents, each with a distinct skill set, call Winkler Real Estate Group home. We’re like a family. We share impeccable integrity, enormous passion for our work, and a drive to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients. Collaboration and congeniality allow us to pool our knowledge and experience to offer real estate advice and guidance you can count on. No red tape, no fancy footwork; we provide guidance you can trust. I couldn’t be happier; we’re a stellar team.

Ira Serkes
Compass
About Ira

The Bronx And Newcastle Carol and I eloped to St. Thomas, were married on the veranda of the Hotel 1829 by the Rabbi of the 2nd oldest synagogue in the western hemisphere. The restaurant manager and cocktail waitress were our witnesses. We called my mom on a pay phone right afterwards, and she was thrilled she didn’t have to go shopping for a dress. We’ve been married over 30 years … or as my friend John Pinto would say “over 30 years of marital bliss” I grew up in the Pelham Parkway neighborhood in The Bronx. For pocket money I was a delivery boy for Max Anshen’s Health Food store on White Plains Road, and Abe Rosenberg’s Kosher Butcher on Lydig Avenue. NYC had great schools which fast-tracked good students. I was able to skip 8th grade and follow in the footsteps of Steve Pincus and applied (and was accepted) to The Bronx High School Of Science. I could go to any college I wanted to, as long as I could live at home, the schools were tuition free and were either City College or Cooper Union. Steve went to Cooper Union and studied Chemical Engineering. I applied, got into Cooper too, and also became a Chemical Engineer. And now it’s time to simply say thank you to Lillian Pincus, my mother’s best friend and her two wonderful sons Arthur & Steven. Though accepted to Grad School at Stanford, Penn State, UMass Amherst and the University of Rochester. I had a stint in the Army Reserves put things off for year. This gave me the opportunity to work with Dr. Thomas McAvoy at UMass Amherst. My M.S.Ch.E in Hybrid (Analog <-> Digital computing). One day in the computer lab, another grad student said “You should send your resume to Chevron; they’re looking for people like you” And in 1974 I moved to Berkeley to work as a research engineer for Chevron, receiving two patents for my research. PS I speak Bronxese, New Yorkish, Spanish, Macintosh, PDP-8 Machine Language, and Fortran. I also studied Hebrew and Arabic, but found that I’m a better Realtor than linguist. Though Carol was born in England, has no accent and speaks American English quite well.
