From getting home repairs done, to providing an experienced home stager and a professional photographer, and then advertising the home to the general public and to the real estate community. After that we move to contract signing, home inspections, appraisals, final underwriting, hiring movers. The list goes on and on, but my professional team will be there to answer all of your questions and to insure your success. Buyers need help understanding how to get pre-approved for a loan. They want to know the elements of the home buying process and what order those need to come in. They know they can search for homes online, but question whether there are other homes available that they're not seeing (the answer is YES). They want to know how the home inspections and appraisal works and they want a seamless, and dare I say, enjoyable home buying experience. At the age of 18, I began a career at the Hallmark Cards factory in Topeka, KS where I worked for 4 years. When I turned 21, I attended a real estate investing seminar and immediately decided to buy rental properties, and sell real estate on the side. The next year, I transferred to Hallmark's headquarters in downtown Kansas City. I realized that my career opportunities would be much greater with Hallmark and my real estate business could also be much better in my favorite vacation city. My sideline business grew steadily through the years and after 20 years I decided to devote myself to selling real estate full time. I have to laugh when I think about how much easier it is selling real estate today than it was back in 1982, when interest rates were 18%. I have three children, Brooke, Brady and Blake. I also have two adorable grandsons, Max (5), Briggs (3) and a granddaughter, Finley (1). My favorite activities involve spending time with my grandkids and kids. I am also a huge Chiefs fan! As a "Red Coater" for the team, I volunteer by working at various Chiefs events and charitable causes in the community. I never miss a Chiefs home game and take in at least one road game per year. I still have a huge passion for helping people realize their home buying and selling dreams. There's nothing like the feeling of high fives and hugs when sharing in the excitement of helping people achieve their home ownership dreams! It's all about making a positive difference in the lives of others!
