While studying economics and finance in college, I took a real estate course and my love affair with the industry started. When my professor asked me to join her firm in 1984, I jumped at the opportunity – even though she warned me that I had to be prepared for making little or no money my first year in business. She was right, but by adhering to a Client-First Philosophy, I am proud to say that I have been able to help over 2500 individuals and families with their real estate needs. To best serve my clients, I need to be out getting my listings sold, finding my buyers the right home in the Milford CT area, and negotiating contracts. However, in this complex world there are many other details that need to be accomplished in order to have a successful real estate transaction – frankly, too many for one person. With this in mind, I have an administrative staff to, among other things, make sure all paperwork is processed correctly, coordinate with the photographer, submit listings to all websites and our two Boards of Realtors for inclusion on their Multiple Listing Services, have For Sale signs put up in timely fashion, coordinate with our client’s attorney and lender, manage internet presence and marketing campaigns, and make sure all contingencies are met. I also have four others on my staff. One is my husband, Dave, who is my business partner. His financial background and analytical approach to things give him a unique ability to assist our clients in making informed financial decisions. The other three are Lisa, Vera, and Chris who specialize in helping our buyers find just the right home. Our team is built to stay on top of market conditions, inventory and all aspects of the transaction, while providing exceptional customer service.
