I have been telling people that “I’m still trying to figure out what I’m gonna be when I grow up” for most of my adult life. I always made that comment in jest and it normally got a laugh. It may have been funny then, but I could not have been more serious. In fact, I make several references to it in a book I published entitled “Ending The Cycle of Abuse: How I Overcame Childhood Abuse and Became a Good Father.” I guess I’ll have to find a different way to humor folks now because I have found a home in the real estate business.
