I had the most pleasant and positive experience working with Anthony on the purchase of our new home and sale of current home. Anthony is extremely responsiveness when it comes to questions and deadlines, he's punctual and always on time for showings/meetings, and - most importantly - knowledgeable with regards to the area (Northern VA, DC, MD) and the details of the home purchase (HVAC, hot water, appliances, roofing, etc - all the things that are important and expensive in a home purchase). The thing that impressed me the most about Anthony was how resourceful he was. The home that we were purchasing had a swimming pool and two wood-burning fireplaces. As part of the home inspection, he recommended that we get specialists to conduct thorough inspections of the pool and chimneys as your typical home inspector will only give it an eye-ball test. Anthony personally reached out to specialist home inspectors and had them come out during the 7-day home inspection period. Sure enough, these inspectors found issues with the pool and chimneys, which we used as leverage during the negotiation process (the expenses would have been significant). The sellers agreed to give us significant subsidies which were applied to our closing costs, so we saved a ton of money. Finally, he has a relationship with a qualified contractor who has done amazing work on home renovations. A previous home that we were interested in required a lot of work, and as we were debating moving foward with the home, Anthony offered to have his contractor provide a ballpark as to what the home renovation would cost which helped us determine whether or not to proceed. We ended up not proceeding as it would have cost us more than we budgeted in fixing the property up. "Sometimes the best investments are the ones you don't make."On the sale of our home, Anthony was incredible. He provided us with really good guidance as to how to properly stage the property in order to make it most appealing to potential buyers. This was very beneficial as we received a great turnout for the open house. Additionally, he priced it just right in order to create a small bidding war. We received two offers within 3 days of it being on the market, and were ratified on day 4! Bottom line: the process for my wife and I was seemingly effortless. Anthony did all the work, helped us buy our dream home, and netted us a pretty penny on the sale of our existing home. I'd recommend using Anthony over any other local agent.
