Brad Hekekia

I rented a home from the Hekekia's for over 4 years. I'm not going to air out specific details, but I did not have a good experience renting from them. Very rude and condescending. Dishonest in the way they handled our security/cleaning deposit. I would not recommend doing business with them.

My experience with Brad was terrible. He was unresponsive to the point of my realtor contacting his broker and he continually lied, simple said things instead of finding out the facts. When issues of trust and probate arose, his wife, Kristen told us Brad would be handling the sale. We were informed of the issues 12/21/20, and later found out that the problem was legally address on apx 12/8. He and his wife refused to respond over the holidays to a request to rent the home because "they have family visiting". Our son and grandson had given notice to move and were going to be without a home, which created a rather worrisome holiday for me and my family. When they represented the sellers and we were able to rent, it was $500 over what our payment would be. Brad told us the probate papers were filed in court 1/8/21, they were not filed until 2/12. He and his clients disregarded required dates resulting in being in breech of contract. This pattern continued through 5/16/21 when the house finally closed. If you have the opportunity to avoid doing business with Hekekia Real Estate, I would highly recommend it.
