He came in highly recommended by many friends and family and definitely did not let us down. He is very responsive, experienced, knowledgable of the entire process, meticulous and honest. Me being someone who wanted to heavily be involved, Carl was so patient to answer each of my questions and educated me through it all. I also loved the fact that he was honest with his opinions and recommendations. There were many opportunities where Carl could have pushed us to buy a house but he did not and patiently waited with us till the right home showed up all while providing honest and fair assessment of each property we saw. This was my 2nd experience working with Carl and The Medford Team. He helped us buy our first home 3.5 years ago. One time, we couldn't pass the city's inspection. Because of his experience, he contacted the inspector and explained what's really going on. We were able to pass the inspection and moved forward in the process. We also used his big moving truck free to his clients. The truck worked great! His wife does the staging for his clients. If you're looking for an Agent, I recommend Carl Medford and his Team. Carl is a very knowledgeable and patient Agent. Carl helped me buy 2 homes and sell 1. Throughout the process, I never felt rushed or pushed to buy or sell. This is very important to me. When we went out looking, Carl walked through the homes with us and pointed out problems with the homes so we are aware of what we will be potentially getting ourselves into with renovations. It helped with our decision making because we know what to expect and budget for so we could decide if we could afford it or not. We really appreciated that he was very honest with us. Most Agent wouldn't know what to look for and they wouldn't have patient to walk through the homes and point out problems. This would mean they won't get their commission. Carl will look out for your best interest and will not rush you. These are rare to find in an Agent. When I sold my home, Carl and his Team was very helpful. Everything went quick and smooth.

I just don't have the right words to describe Carl & his team. They are just fabulous. I was told that buying a home in the bay area particularly in and around Fremont, Dublin could just be dream because of various reasons like price and the numbers of offers being put. But may be it was Carl's magic that worked. We are able to track down something in Pleasanton which is a much nicer and rick looking area than Fremont and surrounding areas. Carl is a very experienced professional and knows the worth of the home just by looking and recommends the price for the offer so that we don't have any surprises during appraisal. One other good thing is he has very good contacts as far as contractors, handy man goes. I just followed his recommendations and everything turned out just fine. His lender affiliations are just too good and they get everything processed very fast. I can't disagree with any of the reviews i find in here. He is just too good in this business and no wonder he has so many clients. I am a nagging personality as I expect things to work faster which is just my normal tendency. I kept bombarding him with text messages although I know sometimes i was stretching it a little too far. He was just calm and kept me confident all through the way. We met Carl after a few failed attempts at purchasing a home in the tri-cities area with two other realtors. When my wife and I decided to buy a house, we went with Carl Medford as our agent and we couldn't be happier with the decision. Before we picked an agent, we interviewed several agents including Carl. Carl felt the most knowledgeable and genuine. He walked us through the process and told us very clearly what he will help us with and what he expected from us. It was an added bonus that he took classes at the local MLS training center :)Once we started looking, we setup a process that worked best for us. Though Carl set us up with MLS updates, we would scout Trulia, Redfin etc and forward houses we wanted to see to Carl. He made it a point to have them all lined up for the weekend. Sometimes we saw up to 8 houses a day.While bidding, Carl gave me the best advice I ever got: "The price of the house is not what a website or comps say it is, but its what someone else is ready to pay". He was very honest with us telling us when he thought we bid too low or too high (we actually went a little crazy with our bidding, buy bidding too high once we lost a couple of houses with low bids). He helped us find a great lender (who even took our calls on Sundays) and had a very quick turnaround with offers. In fact we saw a house on a Sunday around 6 pm, called the seller's agent and found out that the offer deadline was that midnight. When we lost hope, Carl made it work; getting the lender to send us a revised approval letter and finishing all electronic paperwork by 11:30 pm. That incident defined Carl's commitment to us.Carl was with us every step of the way. On one of the houses, we got our offer countered. Mean time we felt uneasy to pursuing that house due to some ambiguous requests by the sellers. Carl never complained but handled taking to the sellers and backing out. He has always been ready to do what we felt comfortable.Once we were in escrow, Carl helped us setup all the inspections. And on the day of closing, when we got to our new home, Carl had left us a champagne & some new grocery bags to get our life started in the new place. A classy touch. Also, he provides a moving truck for free for the move.We had a great time working with Carl and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for houses in the Fremont area (as that's where we looked).

We worked with Carl's team in the South Bay around the April 2012 timeframe. We were trying to buy a home. He and John made my wife and I signed all kinds of documents placing allegiance to his firm using Docusign. They reviewed a couple of properties with us in the beginning, but that was pretty much it. It was difficult for us to get in touch with them. I had originally written this review much harsher because my wife and I were both extremely anxious to get into a home and the prices were starting to rise. We were frustrated and felt like we were ignored.After posting the initial review, John called and apologized that the experience wasn't at the level they usually deliver. He reminded me that he did let us know that he would be on vacation for a week and that he had reviewed a couple of properties with us initially. The initial review was harsher than it should have been.We did find another realtor and moved into a single-family home.What I took away from the experience is that it is good to find a realtor located close to the area you are looking to buy into.

We worked with Lori Parks out of this office and she was amazing. She is a no-nonsense, clear speaking, honest and professional agent. She was very communicative, able to take our thoughts and feelings and translate them into solid and effective deal-making. The Medford Team performed stellar work for us to sell our home. The team did an amazing job in transforming a older house into a gorgeous property for a rapid sale even in the lousy 2011 market. They were honest throughout the entire process and supported their suggestions with real market data.
