I was born and raised in San Jose, CA. I moved WAY OUT to Hollister in 1987, ONLY for the affordable new house. I fell in love with the area and found that it was a wonderful place to raise a family and not too far of a drive to the mall! I am very proud to call Hollister my Hometown. I started my Real Estate Career in 1980. I received my Real Estate license and begin a career in Escrow. I did not even know what an “Escrow” was! I worked and learned from the best back in the day when there were typewriters and carbon paper. Oh boy, do I feel old! In 1992, a friend asked me to be his partner and apply for a New Homes Sales position in Hollister with a company called Kaufman and Broad. First thought was “oh no, what do I wear!” and second was, “I have no clue about new home sales!”. My daughter Alissa was 2 and I only had MOM clothes to wear. I got the job!
