Colin Delaney absolutely knew every area in Costa Mesa, knew all the neighborhoods, and more than anything I could absolutely trust his opinion. He had our best interests out in front of everything. Colin helped develop a successful marketing strategy to sell our house and suggested helpful tips to sell our home, including when to try to sell and how to enhance our home to obtain the best price. I was very impressed with the entire marketing approach. He readily agreed to meet with us at night after work and on weekends. He also worked tirelessly to help us negotiate the purchase of a new home with a difficult seller. Colin made himself available, was very personable and gave us good advice. Colin is a true professional that not only knows and understands the real estate market and business, but he knows how to take care of people. We had him manage a property in Irvine, and he did an excellent job finding a tenant and managing the property while they were there. Eventually, we decided to sell and Colin prepared the property to sell quickly, and we did wind up getting top dollar. Highly recommended!!!

I was referred to Colin by a mutual friend named Jeff who had used Colin in the past and points out that he is not only effective but honest. And Im glad that I ended up using Colin. Colin never fails to be honest and upfront with me about a house and its faults, even if I disagreed (and upon retrospect, he was usually right Im incredibly grateful that I have the house now as opposed to that 1-bathroom cottage in Irvine that he didnt think would suit me). But he would never fail to follow through my offers and check up with them. Colin also is warm, friendly, and incredibly patient. We searched for over six months (which was nothing compared to one homebuyer he had that lasted several years!) and he graciously drove me around Orange County in the cities I requested, and never failed to check listings for me. Colin would additionally follow through with listings I found in Redfin and Zillow, and constantly monitor the status of certain houses. Each weekend he would guide me, and on the rare cases he couldnt make it, he gave me advance notice. One thing I am especially appreciative about is Colins quick response and keeping things up to date. Any listing that was a potential canidate, he would inform me if wed go see it on the weekend. One time, he found a foreclosure and within an hour during my lunch break, we dashed off to view it because it wasnt going to be available long. The escrow process was so smooth because not only did Colin was on standby and responded back with the paperwork almost within the hour, but he was also available to contact and fax information late at night. Colin could always be counted on to make himself available, especially in an emergency. He was especially quick in settling a fiasco with the application with the state tax credit (one mess I would not have gotten through if not for him). Even now after I bought my house, Colin never fails to greet me with respect and answer any questions or issues I have about the house or future paperwork. He can also be counted on obtaining contact information to other resources for the house; I found a good handyman and roofer thanks to Colin. Will I use him again? Without question. And I certainly passed out his business cards at my housewarming party (which he graciously attended to my requests) which should indicate whether Id recommend him to my friends.

After attempting 3 times over the last 5 years to start searching for an investment property, I found Colin who took the time to listen to what I wanted to do and lined up properties meeting my criteria. Other agents had simply put me on mailing lists with lots of properties that I had no interest in. He notified me of new properties that had just been listed, made suggestions, and played interfererance when I had issues with the bank.

Colin is fantastic, I cannot say enough good things about him. My family was in a complicated situation, both our parents passed away in a short period of time and we had to deal with the estate quickly. I had a family member living in the house that was ill and resistant to the sale. Colin was so diplomatic and calm and kind that the family member was won over in a matter of minutes of meeting him. It was a difficult situation that Colin difused immediately, and he manuevered the escrow period brilliantly. Every step of the way, he went above and beyond the call of duty (even finding the family member a new place to live and handling the application process without charge). And I believe he really gave us sound advice and we made a very strong sale. I would use Colin again in a heartbeat. He is the best.
