About David Chase

David Chase, President and owner of Chase & Associates Premier Properties, grew up in Decherd, Tennessee. After high school he attended Middle Tennessee State University on a full music scholarship. Following his dreams, he became a highly accomplished studio and touring drummer, working with some of the best musicians and artists in the business. He ended his career in music as the touring drummer for the legendary blues artist Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown.

From a young age David also had a second passion of real estate, obtaining his affiliate license in 1995 and his broker’s license in 2002. He honed his skills in market research, land analysis, negotiations, contracting, land acquisitions, land development, and marketing while working for Edsel Charles, owner of MarketGraphics from 1996-2003. His duties included market research and land acquisitions not only in Nashville, but also Greensboro, Indianapolis, and St. Louis, as well as managing market expansion in multiple states. This unique experience further enhanced his expertise in land acquisitions, land development, marketing, and drastically expanded his contact base amongst local and national developers, home builders, and lending institutions.

David has also excelled in residential and commercial property acquisition and disposition throughout the Middle Tennessee region for over 20 years. Throughout his career he has worked with builders, investors, and homebuyers, always striving to acquire any given property for the lowest amount possible for the buyer and to sell for the highest return when representing a seller.

During the economic downturn, David focused on on distressed and bank-owned properties and created a network of contacts with banks and investors. He has located and brokered the purchase of properties in excess of $60,000,000 in values over the past 8 years. His expertise is also in the sales and marketing of properties, as the average return on investment for his investors has been in excess of 140% annualized.

His expertise and skills are unique, with a very broad range of experience and a proven track record of success. He always goes beyond just listing properties or finding great investments and goes the extra step of doing whatever is needed to keep transactions moving forward towards successful and profitable closings.
