I am a Certified Distressed Property Expert, or CDPE. This designation indicates that I am trained in and knowledgeable about the many options that homeowners have if they are in distress or face that in the future. This allows me to help counsel homeowners on their options aside from foreclosure and short sale. Further, it allows me to effectively facilitate a short sale if that is the chosen route. Distress is something that 1 of 7 homeowners in todays economy face. As an agent and a homeowner, I realize the importance of helping those owners to avoid foreclosure. Not only can the foreclosure cause problems with employment and finances down the road, but it is also a very stressful thing to face.
