We worked with Hayley and Eddie (primarily Hayley) on purchasing a single family home in the first half of 2019. We had previously had a great experience working with Eddie on the purchase of our condo in 2013, so there wasn't even a question of who we would call when we were ready to make our next move. When my wife and I decided to look for a home we didn’t have the slightest clue where to begin. We went to a few open houses, met a few brokers, started reading some articles and information that was sent to us, but we were still overwhelmed and confused. We were also not 100% committed to this search, we were just trying to get a sense of what was out there. Luckily, a good friend of ours recommended their brokers, and since it was word of mouth we decided to give them a shot. At first we weren’t sure how much to engage since we weren’t even sure that this was something we truly wanted to commit to. The first time I met with Eddie, I thought he would be my second choice because he was so relaxed. Then I realized that if he is that relaxed yet so knowledgeable about the market, he must know the area and the strong points about my property. And he did. He pointed out all of the things my unit had that the others did not, and he convinced me that that is why my property would sell fast. So we talked about that and spent some time talking about price point and then I handed it over to him. In this market, I had 2 offers within 10 days and one was all cash and a quick close. So I am a happy camper and I strongly recommend you talk to him as his strategy and marketing plan is spot on! Not to mention his quick follow-up and the strong team behind him.

For two completely overwhelmed first time homebuyers in the SF real estate market, Eddie and his entire team at Elevation were an absolute godsend! Along every step of the process, they were patient and very communicative with us and taught us so much about the homebuying process. They have presentations and other education materials ready to go that explain the nitty gritty details. Both Hayley and Eddie were very attentive as we walked through houses with them, pointing out potential future issues, value-add opportunities, and general tips on what to look for when we went to houses on our own. We checked in with Hayley every week, and she would always have suggestions for houses that might not have been on our radar, one of which is the house we ended up purchasing! They made sure to meet us at our comfort level for offers and never pushed us to do something we weren’t comfortable with, but they were also realistic about what we needed to do to get our ideal home. We used their recommendations along the way for lenders, which helped immensely in our crazy fast closing process - it felt like it was all one big team from the escrow company to the lenders because they had all worked together so many times before. Even after closing, their recommendations for vendors for various home projects have been invaluable. We’re hoping not to enter the crazy Bay Area real estate market again for a long time, but when we do, Eddie will be our first call, and until then, we’ll recommend Elevation Real Estate to everyone we know.

We greatly enjoyed working with Eddie and the Elevation Team. We weren't exactly an easy case -- a topsy-turvy housing market, shifting preferences of what and where we were looking to live, and an accelerated timeline (arrival of a baby). Eddie handled it all in stride and we enjoyed working with him at all hours of the day and night. We were not first-time buyers, and so we felt we were in a better position to recognize that Eddie was a great negotiator. He listens exceptionally well, he is highly networked across the real estate landscape, he has had lots of practice and thus is excellent at pattern matching, and his BS meter is well-calibrated. I'm confident we wouldn't have gotten our home at the ultimate purchase price and terms without Eddie advising and working his relationships.
