After working in Fire Rescue and Commercial Construction at the same time, Eion wanted a change. He wanted a profession where he could make a difference in peoples lives financially. He considered selling Real Estate but only after trying to get a mortgage on his very first house did he realize the impact getting a loan made on a potential homeowner. In 1997 Eion started to work for Chase Manhattan lending residential mortgages through all 50 states. After that he went on to Wholesale Lending broadening his reach to homeowners by wholesale lending to mortgage companies, lenders and brokers throughout Florida. With that experience he went on to open his very own mortgage company UMIC where he originated mortgages for residential, commercial and consumer loans.
