Bought a home 2021 -My finance and I worked with Ellen to purchase our first home together, and we cannot thank her enough for her hard work and dedication to finding us the perfect place. We were moving from NY to CT, and knew very little about the home buying process. Ellen was extremely knowledgeable about the different communities in Stamford, and was able to guide us in the right direction. Ellen worked with us for almost a year, during the covid-19 pandemic, showing us many houses virtually through facetime, and sending us listings she thought we would be interested in on a weekly basis. She also has a network of local realtors she works with, which allowed her to set up house showings when it was convenient for us, even when she was unavailable or out of town. We had a very specific idea of what we wanted in our first home, and Ellen worked extremely hard to make sure we finally got an accepted offer on the perfect home. We found Ellen to be the most helpful for us during the closing process. Ellen is extremely organized and worked with both our lender and the seller to make the process very easy, while reassuring us along the way. Ellen went above and beyond her job description, even after we closed on the home, sending in a cleaning crew when we weren't satisfied with how the seller left the home. 11/23/2020 - mggshopSold a Single Family home in 2020 in New Canaan, CT.Ellen sold our house in New Canaan in September 2020 with a closing in November 2020 for over $2.5 million. Ellen also represented us when we bought the home in January 2013. So, the fact that we worked with her again should say something. Ellen was honest in her feedback of the work that needed to be done to get our house ready, brought in an advisor for the staging, used the top technologies to position our house for sale and was respectful of our time during the Covid-19 period we were listing the house. When the buyers raised some non-standard issues, Ellen worked with them and the buyer's agent to sort through the challenges. We are quite comfortable recommending Ellen.

Ellen came into a difficult situation - my house had been languishing on the market for 10 months with little traffic. Within a month she had turned the situation around, generating interested buyers to view my house with her knowledge of the marketplace and how to position my property.
