  • George helped me buy a home

Truly horrifying experience working with real estate agent George Santos. George Santos is the most unprofessional person my family and I have ever worked with. He is discriminatory against women and people who are younger than him, and does not fairly represent his clients or stay true to his word. All very important things when building a new construction home. We were home buyers: George typically represents the sellers for new construction homes/builders. Our first mistake was not getting a separate real estate agent to represent us. So if you are ever buying a property that George Santos represents always, ALWAYS get your own Realator. Although, I wouldn’t recommend building with anyone who he represents as it will just lead to false agreements, headaches and unprofessional demeanor. And let’s face it- any builder who is willing to be represented by such an unprofessional human being is probably not someone who you want building your home. I mean truly unthinkable unprofessional demeanor. George is also extremely unorganized and made numerous numerical errors throughout the building process- which is obviously very important when building a new home. He did not represent us fairly in any capacity. And has a temper that you never could dream of having to deal with, especially in this business. From day one we had a feeling we should not be working this Realator when we contacted him about a lot for sale to build on and they changed the price 3 times because it was “incorrectly posted” how could you incorrectly post a price of the home when you have changed it 3 times in one week? He was just trying to weasel the most money he could out of us. And that didn’t change throughout the entire building process. He constantly would make design and numerical errors and then when you ask about it- would lose his temper and scream and yell. We would make agreements and when he would later tell us it was a different price and we inquired for him to explain why- he again quite literally would begin screaming and yelling. What was supposed to be an exciting time (even though I know even in normal circumstances stances building is stressful) George totally robbed us of an exciting experience and made it totally unprofessional. He made so many numerical errors throughout the process that we were stuck with a much larger bill than agreed upon on documented change orders because he doesn’t know how to add properly. Or stay organized. I would say quite an important skill in this business. STAY AWAY FROM WILLIAM RAVEIS AND GEORGE SANTOS.
