We just closed on our new home and we couldn't be happier with our experience with Glenn. We first met Glenn at an open house in Los Feliz and immediately had a great feeling about him. He was very knowledgeable, intuitive, and kind, and my boyfriend and I agreed that he would be the perfect person to work with, especially since we were moving from Miami to Los Angeles and would need someone we truly trusted.Upon our first meeting it was also clear that Glenn's method and understanding of not only the market, but also us and buyers, would suite us in matching us with the right house to call home. Glenn also expressed he was not interested in wasting our time. This was VERY important to us as the time we had allocated for buying a house was a very tight timeline.We communicated with Glenn via telephone and Skype meetings from Miami. Then Glenn put a property tour weekend together that we flew back out to Los Angeles for. Of course we were nervous but trusted Glenn 100%. He made us feel so comfortable it just worked.We found the house we wanted the very first day. That said, we were not entirely optimistic that we would be able to get the house as there were several offers on the property already. We had heard so many horror stories about bidding wars or getting priced out or worst yet, ending up in a situation we weren't comfortable in. Needless to say, Glenn worked his magic with the listing broker, our offer was excepted and wasn't even the highest offer!!!Buying our first home in Los Angeles was an incredibly daunting task for us (especially for us moving so far from Miami) but Glenn was a class act showing incredible patience and is a pro which made the experience smooth, productive, and even fun. We would absolutely recommend Glenn Shelhamer to anyone looking to buy a place to call home.

Glenn Shelhamer is a stand up guy who happens to be a very knowledgable and effective real estate agent. A rare find!I originally bought my Eagle Rock house with the intention of living in it for a few years, but rather quickly realized it wasn't right for me. When it came time to selling the house I interviewed a number of agents, including Glenn, to figure out what best to do with it. It became clear Glenn knew the area incredibly well, had repeated success selling a range of properties, and didn't come across as the typical agent. He also has a real passion for architecture and plenty of contacts for managing home improvements that we undertook as part of the process of getting the place ready to sell.I made a very fair and profitable sale. Better still, the stress was almost non-existent.
