I've known the owner of Valley View Properties, Gustavo Gonzalez, for over 10 years. He has helped my family and many friends in more ways than just selling our house or finding a house for us to buy. I have all positive personal experiences with Gustavo buying and selling for us and for four of our friends. The result of all of those encounters has been a quick sale of a house at a top price and/or the purchase of the "perfect" house at a great price. When we purchased our current home, he helped us to successfully navigate a complicated financing situation and difficulties with the tenants. He approached each situation with compassion, patience and an open mind to what the person's needs are first and foremost ... he has freely given advice without pushing his agenda. He has the same persona he does when working with the community or his family - he listens, he shares, he takes action to assist. Although some might call him stubborn ... when he makes up his mind to do something, it gets done, and he gets it done right. He is always polite and reasonable, and he shows tremendous appreciation for his family, co-workers, and community members. I am constantly amazed at how he seems able to balance his family life, his professional life, and his community volunteer life since he puts 100% of himself into each endeavor.

We had two lots of raw land that we wanted to sell. We called various agents and described the properties and got little encouragement about the prospects of a sale. However, when we called Gustavo Gonzalez, Owner/Broker of Valley View Properties, we found a hard-working and dedicated agent. He told us up front about the problems of selling raw land, helped us market it and gave us realistic advice about the sale. I can truly say that he was with us every step of the way. It was not an easy sale. He really worked for this one. I do not think that anyone else could have done more. He found a buyer, dealt with the unavoidable delays and finished the deal. We found him to be easy to deal with, impeccably honest, and he was always available to answer questions and deal with problems. End of the story, we sold the land and got paid. We feel like we got a good deal and we know that our buyer got a good deal. Gustavo will be our choice for any future real estate deals and we highly recommend him.

n 2010 Gustavo Gonzalez represented me as my real estate agent for my first house purchase. The house I purchased was a short sale thus it took much more patience and time then a normal house purchase would take. We had to wait on the seller's banks. Gustavo was excellent he paid great attention to detail and definitely gave me some great insight into being a homeowner. During the whole process, Gustavo kept me updated in a timely fashion.Gustavo was recommended to me by my father who has used Gustavo's real estate knowledge multiple times. My brother is currently utilizing Gustavo Gonzalez as his real estate agent.Gustavo has a great personal touch. He provided a great knowledgeable work ethic backed by wonderful social skills that are lacking with other agents and people in general.

Gustavo made the purchase of our home very easy and painless. He always knew exactly who to contact to get the answers we needed, oftentimes from his cell phone right after we asked him our question. If there was a hold-up in the process he would aggressively seek out answers. The home he helped us purchase was a bank-owned foreclosure that comes with multiple unique circumstances. Gustavo had no problem helping us navigate through all the confusion. He was always available to us to address any concerns or answer any questions we had and even walked us through what to expect in terms of monthly payments to be sure this was the right financial decision for us. We met Gustavo when my sister purchased her first home. Gustavo was the selling broker and he made a great impression on my sister, my parents who were helping my sister through the purchase, and me even though he was not my sister's broker for that sale. Since then, Gustavo has been and continues to be the first call we make when we are considering a new real estate endeavor.

If you're even remotely considering buying a home, Gustavo is your guy! Honestly I can't say enough good things about how we met and the entire process, but let me itemize a bit:- he is always, and I mean even when he's busy or on vacation, always available to talk, just pick up the phone- complimentarily, he is always proactively emailing or calling you with updates and further information- all documents are handled securely and electronically through a proper third-party document review and signing company (I have to say, this is a big requirement for me)- he WILL fight the good fight for you because his entire process revolves around making sure you, the buyer (or seller) are happyI know it seems like I'm just another happy customer leaving a boilerplate 5-star review because indeed, I am happy, and I even feel I've made a new friend. Gustavo always stands by his word and follows through, and you really couldn't ask for more when you're making the biggest financial decision of your life. If you have one RE agent/broker in your phone, this is the guy you want.A little more background on my deal:I called Gustavo about a rental randomly off Zillow. Unfortunately he had just rented it out so he asked me point-blank, "Why don't you consider buying?". I explained how I had super cold feet given the real estate market rebound and how I did NOT want to get into something over-priced just for the sake of doing it 'now', but he invited me to his office anyways and I agreed we could sit down and see what's actually on the market and superficially review my finances. Frankly, I still wasn't sure I could pull it off (down payment would be too much) but G gave me the confidence to look further and find all the money I could to make this happen. We settled on a realistic budget and started watching the market. Fast forward 1 week and I'd picked out my perfect new home, listed at a slightly higher price than we both thought was realistic for the area. Now mind you, this place is about 90 miles from his office, so I figured it would be one of those things where he refers me to a friend in the business to handle an out-of-town inquiry. Nope, Gustavo hopped on the phone immediately and setup a viewing with the listing agent, basically just saying, "Go check it out, if you like it, we'll move on it.". Needless to say I was extremely excited, propelled by Gustavo's confidence without question. He would later join me to visit the property on several occasions, even taking the time to inspect alongside the home inspectors, asking important questions I would never have thought of, and generally bringing me up from total newb to savvy buyer. For that knowledge transfer I am eternally grateful.In the end, we got the place for a sweet deal under listing price (the area allows for more of a buyer's market) and while G is used to working on seller's market type deals in the bay area right now, he flipped into buyer's mode without hesitation. The sellers ended up paying for everything in the closing pretty much, sans the inspections which I paid for (and wanted to do so). During this process he referred me to his preferred lender and I was able to get financed and close in 21 days! I had a time limit to meet (rental I was in was being sold) and G made it happen.Now I've never bought a house before, but Gustavo explained everything down to the tiniest detail and in ways that anyone could understand and be at ease with, so again, the confidence assistance he can provide by way of his expertise is just second to none. You will not be left in the dark, and you will not go wanting for more information on any of the various home-buying topics/steps.In the end I couldn't be more pleased with Gustavo's expertise and treatment of me and this deal, all the while concurrently handling 2-3 other deals. Indeed I do feel like I made a new friend in the bay area. Thanks again Gustavo!!
