Jacky certainly fits that profile. Jacky Chow received his MS and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He was interested in real estate early on: while studying for his MS degree at Stanford, Jacky passed the state exam and obtained a real estate salesperson license in 1989, though busy schoolwork prevented him from pursuing his real estate interests at that point. While Jacky was pursuing his PhD degree at Stanford, an exciting new technology called DSL was being developed by his PhD professor.
