JD Tomlin

Stay very far away from JD Tomlin. There are a lot of great realtors in the Dallas area and JD Tomlin is not one of them. Typical salesman that sells himself well, but once you are under contract with him you will regret choosing him to represent you. He tried to charge me an outrageous commission when all we needed him to do was the paperwork on a home sale, as the buyer and I had already mostly come to terms on everything before he came into the picture. He literally quoted a bible verse about greed to me over the phone...Should have left at that point, but we were already under contract on our new home with him representing us, and I didn't want to lose out on that one. He also requested that we deal directly with the seller's realtor, as that agent was on his team, and JD made it apparent that he would not be any help himself. This was early on in the home purchase process, and it deteriorated from there for 4 more months. We found out the day before we were supposed to close that there were liens on the home that would necessitate a bankruptcy filing to remove (a minimum of a 36 day process - ended up taking 2 months) HIS GROUP WAS LISTING THIS HOUSE!!! How could he not know about these liens? They put it on the market 4 months prior when we finally found out

JD Tomlin was extremely helpful in assisting me in getting my house 6 years ago.
