  • Jessica never responded to my request

Jessica scheduled an appointment to show our home that is currently on the market. She scheduled this appointment for 1:00pm and showed up an hour early to our home unannounced. My husband was in our backyard with our dogs and was completely surprised when he noticed her standing in our driveway with her potential buyers. Unfortunately we were planning for 1:00pm as scheduled and were unable to show the house at that very moment. She left abruptly after my husband explained that he would need a little bit of time to gather my dogs and make sure our house was presentable. He assumed she would be back at the scheduled time because what sort of a real estate professional shows up that early without notice. He left our home a little before the set appointment time with our dogs and sat in the car for over an hour waiting for her to return. She no showed. No phone call or anything. She decided that our time was not valuable enough for her to notify us she wouldn’t be returning to show our home. Which would have been completely fine had she extended the courtesy of letting us know. We may have even been able to show our home earlier if she communicated that to us. I would perhaps search for a realtor that is courteous and respectful of your time. It is truly a shame that she thinks it is okay to operate in this manner. We’ll be letting everyone know!
