John is an amazing real estate agent and we could not have asked a better agent for our first home. His research in the field is outstanding which helped us to make an informed decision while making the biggest purchase of our life. We were looking for a house for our boys and John knew exactly what we were looking for. Every suggestion he made was based on data and not on speculation. I really appreciate his honesty and only providing the factual information. He is very responsive and is only a call or text away. The nervousness we had on buying the first house started disappearing as we started communicating with John. I would highly recommend John to everyone. He's a true professional and a great person to work with.

John was outstanding to work with in the selling of our home. Absolute 10 out of 10. First off, John is a true professional and did an incredible job in guiding me through the process of preparing & listing our home. He showed amazing insight into the mindset of our buyers and always provided many options to us based on budget, ability to execute and timing to sell. John was instrumental in maximizing the houses value and ensuing it presented well to those who viewed it. Selling a house is not easy and you need someone on your side who will set appropriate expectations, help keep you on your own timeline and will smooth out the rough patches. John embodies this and he was just a nice person to speak with when I was stressed. You should really partner with him and I would absolutely do so again if selling or buying a new place.

From the very beginning, he worked tirelessly to help me prep my place for sale, finding me local staging consultants, house painters, photographers, and movers he has worked with many times. He's got a great "posse" behind him! He's a lifelong Marin county local and knows every nook and cranny of the county, and is cognizant of what's going on with changes in local laws, taxes, and upcoming construction projects. John's a great active listener, but I also thoroughly enjoyed hearing his stories about growing up in Marin, being a realtor, and being a real estate investor himself. I feel like a got a Ph.D. in real estate by working with him. Would give him 6 stars if I could.

Working with John was cake. He was incredibly helpful, positive and a true partner. We appreciated that John has deep Marin roots; enjoyed that he is an easy-going go-getter who is quick, authentic and engaged; and loved that he loves his family and home. We just bought our first home with John's help! Being first time home buyers, we were nervous, didn't know what to expect, and had lots of questions. John made himself available on short notices to see homes we were interested in right away. He knew what to look for (potential issues in a house), pointing out things as we walked around. It is a really competitive market, but with John's help we were able to get our first offer accepted and we feel very good that we didn't overpay, but we chose the house and budget that made the most sense for us. We went into escrow at a very crazy busy time with a Hawaii vacation that was already planned beginning before the second week of escrow. John was so easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly and we closed on time. He went to the house to over see the chimney and pest inspections since we couldn't be there but we were at peace knowing that he was at the house and would alert us of any issues. We can not thank him enough for getting us into our home and making the process so smooth. Thank you John!

John is the best. We were nervous about buying a house in this market and had talked to a couple of other realtors, but once we met John we knew we were in good hands. He took a ton of time with us, showing us as a ton of homes (what I thought we wanted and then what we actually wanted - he did a great job taking me through that journey :)), and did an excellent job of sharing the pros and cons of each home we looked at. Most importantly, he's a great listener! He really honed in what we wanted and what was important to us, and got us in a house that we love, love, love. He walked us through the entire process and never made us feel rushed, but always took the time to explain each part of the process thoroughly and what to expect. He's knowledgable, prepared, and a genuinely good guy. There is literally no one else I would trust to sell or help us buy another home! I can't recommend John enough!

John is THE realtor in Marin and surrounding areas. I am so happy that I met him during our journey of home buying process. I was in the market for a condo/townhomes in the Bay area. I was not yet sure about the location and so I was looking at some realtors who could help me show some places before I finalized my location. I contacted John through Redfin and was so impressed by his professional at the same time friendly attitude towards this. As a first time buyer I had very little info about what to expect when looking at properties an John was very patient, supportive and educated us about the whole process. Unlike other bay area realtors that I dealt with, John was never pushy about submitting offers and gave us ample time to commit to the area and home buying process.The best part is he went one step beyond when it came to finding homes, making offers and also home-inspection process until the escrow process completed smoothly. John is an outstanding realtor and an amazing person. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone.

I've been working with John for about 8 months now. We have written a few offers and have missed on them by inches. I feel like John has given us our best shot at getting a place even though our budget is on the low end for the bay area. He is pretty much the only thing making us competitive. Most other agents probably wouldn't give us the time of day, John has taken great care of us regardless of budget. There have been more than a few decisions along the way that required his expertise such as offer terms, if and when to make a phone call, timing, pricing, and what to say. So far everything he has done, and all advice given has been spot on in hindsight.Secondly, shopping for a house has been fun with John. My wife and I enjoy his company and doing walk throughs are always entertaining. I also find that he's punctual when returning phone calls and texts. I highly recommend him given what I've seen.
