  • John listed and sold my home

Very good. Was very helpful and made buying our second home very easy.. he was very pleasant and easy to deal with.

    • John helped me buy a home

Worst home buying experience ever working with John Fagundes. He is unprofessional, lacks integrity, and hard to get ahold of. I was referred to John after I was pre-approved with Quicken Loans where he agreed to give me a 30% rebate of his commission if it was okay with the lender. I verified that Quicken was good with this and proceeded. I found a new construction home to buy and during the process John persuaded me to use the builder/seller’s mortgage company. Little did I know, and John never communicated, that there was a max amount for credits/rebates that a buyer can receive. In my case it was 3%, which is what the amount builder was crediting in closing costs. By persuading me to use the builder’s lender I hit that 3% and John thinks he weaseled out of paying my rebate. By not receiving the rebate John made $3000 more commission and costs me $3000 more than if I would have used Quicken. A good agent would have looked out for his client’s best interest rather than lining his own pockets. Furthermore, the customer service I received was lousy at best. I was out of town for the 7 day walk through of my new home, so John’s office did the walk through for me. After many calls, texts, emails I never not got a report, as was promised, on the walk-through results. I learned that his out of office email autoreply was a standard business for him. I finally had to get the list of fix items from the selling agent via text message 1 day before the final walk-through. There are plenty of good real estate agents out there, unfortunately John Fagundes is not one. I would steer clear and find an honest, ethical agent who cares about their client’s best interest.
